This is honestly the only thing in my opinion that is completely worth the hype! I have terrible under eye circles and this is the only concealer I've found that actually doesn't crease on me and I've tried HUNDREDS. I'm glad you enjoy it as well! ❤️
So I really never comment on YT vids, but I just kinda wanted to reach out (no clue if you'll see this.) I've been sub'd since you only had 30,000 subs and have witnessed the drama of certain videos spike and wither many times. All in all, I think you're a good gal who says what's on her mind - and that doesn't always go over well. Which places you in the position of attempting to pacify people while also explaining why you said it (a herculean task it seems.) And I just want to say (in the nicest, most constructive way possible) that I think you're letting it get to you too much. In your last 10-15 videos I could create an alcohol poisoning game of shots for every time you attempt to preemptively circumvent a negative comment in the midst of applying your make up. "Before anyone says, X" "I know, I know, it's not X, but-" "I promise it's not because I'm X, but because -" ... I think with the amount of YT fame you've acquired as of late, negative comments are just part of the territory. Cyber bullying and harassment is not acceptable and I promise I'm not giving some "suck it up" speech, I just feel that if you allow yourself to become so concerned with the oncoming negative comments in a comment section as you're filming you lose a bit of the happy-go-lucky charm that's drawn so many people to your channel. You've created a great channel and you deserve to put your work out with the confidence that your viewers will enjoy your work product. Take constructive criticism when it comes, but try to put from your mind the potential trolls - you'll never make everyone happy and that is not in any way a negative reflection of your channel, its just life. I enjoy your videos immensely and hope you'll be able to move through this transition time in your channel as happy as possible :) TLDR: As Tswift says, "Haters gonna hate, hate, hate ... Shake it off!"

Sami Giaquinto actually a lot of people say that shape tape looks better without setting powder. Not every concealer is the same.
Whoops, sorry +Sami Giaquinto , I shouldn't have written "…set *it*" but "…set foundations she is testing". She used to do that all the time and people started complaining because they felt it altered the performance of said foundations. Especially if Cassie used powders they didn't own/didn't want to splurge on. Does that make sense now? ^__^

Cassie! Yes, this concealer darkens like crazy when it dries. Not many youtubers have said that! I'm an NC42 I need to mix medium and tan. This concealer was life-changing for me, as I don't look like I'm exhausted all the time now. I am really happy you liked it and finally reviewed it.
People can be so bold and hateful in the comment sections. If you don't like the way she does HER makeup you do not have to watch her videos. I personally really like her, I think she's very down to earth and normal and funny. Unlike most "beauty gurus" here on UA-cam.

This is really my most favorite concealer. I apply this concealer OVER foundation. The concealer will be just wiped away from its place if you apply foundation over it. It doesn't crease if you apply setting powder right away. Also only use a tiny bit of setting powder. If I use too much I tend see my lines a little more. A little powder makes everything perfect

No overblown lighting, filters, you give us close ups so we can see what the product actually looks like on skin in real life... love it. "If" you find it accentuates fine lines, wrinkles, etc...try just using your ring finger is some powder and rubbing it just on the undereye concealer that creases (make sure you've already smoothed out the creases first with your BB while looking upward) and just lightly rub until it feels powdery and smooth and knock off extra with a clean blending brush. Total hipster moment but i was doing this years ago before baking and i loved it. I can't really do it all over without a cakeface...but under the eyes how i described has been a go-to!
Today was m first day trying it, and I'm so happy with is. I've used the tarte Amazonian concealer and the bye bye undereye and this is so much better. The other two were so oily, would crease so much, and would smudge mascara so Bad! but this didn't do any of that. My eyelids naturally crease, so there's always creasing but this helped keep it from looking splotchy. Love this concealer.
I think you could blend your foundation a little bit more. I can see a good bit of streaking on your forehead and nose. Do you ever set your undereye area with any kind of powder? It might help with the creasing.
I think half the time I come here not for the product reviews (well that is a large part of it) but because you have the best smile that always cheers up my day :)

Ellie Gremlin yeah i've seen it before but i'm not so sure yet. i debated on the foundation for a while. i just hate spending a lot of money! i use maybelline fit me foundation in 110 porcelain, and i use the fit me concealer in 15 fair which is basically the color or my skin
Hmm, I wonder if sephora would sample out concealer like they do for foundations. I'm ghostly as well but I never can get the under eye concealer thing to work for me.
Ellie Gremlin maybe! only thing is the closest Sephora to me is an hour away, and if I wanna buy high end makeup, I wanna swatch it and get matched and that kind of thing instead of making a guess online. Very frustrating!

Honestly, I didnt think it looked that great. It gathered in her fine lines, least thats what it looked like to me. I feel like my Maybelline Fit Me concealer does a better job

I have terrible dark circles and this is the ONLY thing that covers them. I'm so happy I bought the concealer before it got so hyped up, I don't think I'd be able to find it now lol
I absolutely love how close up you show your face. It gives you the BEST view whether it's buy worthy! Just proves you don't need fancy lighting or backgrounds to produce an amazing make up video xx
I freaking love this concealer, I'm actually running out which I didn't expect because it comes with a ton of product! You mentioned how you didn't want to film cause the sun and I'm just curious, why don't you try using your studio lights? They made filming so much easier for me so I didn't have to rely on a sunny day! Just wondering :)

I personally prefer the natural light. I find that the artificial lights many youtubers use washes them out and you can't really tell how a products looks or performs.

Love your reviews! A tip to prevent creasing under your eyes, which you seem to have problems with with all concealers, just use setting powder! .Also, perhaps consider another application of concealer other than your fingers? You're transferring oils from your fingertips to your face, which can make the product a little less effective. It also just doesn't blend as nicely as it could with a sponge! (P.S, I know you used the sponge under your eyes, but it's better to use a sponge over blemishes and such!)

telling people that youre "creasing" is soo misleading. the concealer isn't creasing, its settling into lines. creasing is when the concealer seperates. thats why you say "most concealers crease on you" because you have fine lines under your eyes and concealers will always, for the most part, settle.

I will try that out tomorrow, I was so close to give up on ever finding a concealer, but maybe i can finally fix all my troubles with that. That would be a huge life, time and money saver (finally stopping to buy new concealers every month in the hope to find "the one" haha)

Today is March 3rd.. I finally got a light/medium concealer today. I've been trying ever since it came out to get one! My local ULTA is ALWAYS sold out. When I went in today I asked the sales girl and she said they were out. So I was at the register and mentioned to the girl that was checking me out she said did they check the drawers I said no but they told me they were out. She said let me go check! Lo and behold she came back with one. I'm SO EXCITED. I hope it works for me after all of this time! Thanks for the video Cassie. P.S.. Omg Figaro is so little in this video!!! So sweet!!
Omg Cassie!! I have deep hollowed eyes so my dark circles look more pronounced. I got this on March 3rd and have been wearing it ever since. Let me tell you the hype is REAL!! Probably the best I've ever used and I have used a bunch! I am soon to be 56 but still have oily skin so I can't wear an emollient concealer. I love the consistency! Disappears into my skin and no creasing! Yay. I love it! ❤️👍🏻
Hey Cassie! Great review as always.... question, just out of curiosity... I think I remember you saying a long time ago that you got new ring lights for filming, and just curious why you don't rely on them when the natural light isn't so great?
I use the RCMA No Color powder to set the concealer. I think if you set it with powder, it will perform better for you. Glad you liked it. I love it. : )
I love this product!!! NOTHING lasts on my nose longer than a few hours but this lasts all day!! I mean 11+ hours and at 31 it's gorgeous under my eyes!!!

This concealer is great. I was worried because I have super dry skin, and being 31 years old, my concealer always creases, but I don't even have to set my concealer now. Its truly the best I've tried.

Something I do for crease-y undereyes is to make sure i get my primer in the creases. Then after I apply concealer I use a q-tip to kind of get the extra concealer out of the creases (can't explain it well haha) and then I bake. Usually helps me a lot!

For the record, I am more porcelain than anyone I've ever met or seen on UA-cam (that's saying A LOT I know, my photo doesn't do it justice) and I use the shade 'Fair' and it hadn't oxidized at all on me, so I guess it really depends on your skin. Makeup usually oxidizes on me, never a concealer but definitely foundation and this didn't one bit. It's definitely worth a try.
I agree! I thought it was odd that Cassie said it oxidized on her because almost everything oxidizes on me and ends up being too dark on my skin, but this stuff doesn't at all. It's life changing for me!
It doesn't oxidize on me at all either.. I haven't heard anyone report that actually, so very strange!

Thanks for that as I was worried after she said it oxidises. I am very pale too and usually have to mix half and half foundation with pure white. I also use the lavender concealer from NYX to neutralise yellow pigments in concealer if necessary (thank you thatayla), as that seems to help the colour often. Best wishes.
I have! I love her, but unfortunately some of the products that she uses or mentions are still too dark for me. But she does have some great suggestions!
I bought this a week ago and love it. I am much older with more eye creases and it does not crease on me. Try using less. I use literally a few tiny dots. If you use less it will probably not crease. I also do not set it with any powders and it holds up all day. I have never loved a concealer more than this one.

I finally had thought that I found a concealer pale enough for me, but then I found out it oxidized -.- so disappointed. Might get the kvd white concealer to mix in.

i picked the shade tan and it oxidized a little bit to dark for me as well so i just added the light pinky shade from the Fit Me concealer collection and it looks and feels stunning! the two work great together and it helps it not oxidize
NYX has a product you can use to whiten, and it's very affordable.

You seem like a really beautiful human being, and I love your positive attitude! I'm using the Mac Pro Long Wear concealer right now, but I'm definitely going to try the Tarte after watching this, thanks! I also see a lot of mean comments here... but never you mind, most of them don't know what the heck they're talking about. I think the reason you're getting a few dry patches (where the makeup is clinging) is due to a need to exfoliate. My skin does the same thing if I don't exfoliate and moisturize about 15-30 min before I put on makeup. Primer isn't a magic bullet like some of these other people think... it's all about skin care prior to application. Also, I also have the issue of creasing under my eyes, and I was turned on to a special eye brightening and setting powder by a brand called Le Metier De Beaute that illuminates and doesn't look cakey when you "bake" like certain cult faves (like Laura Mercier's translucent setting powder). I'm 32 so I'm starting to get all kinds of new skin care concerns with each passing day, lol! BTW, your kitty is very cute in the background ^_^

I think some people apply concealer before foundation so they don't have to use as much product.
Back in the day, everyone put concealer on first. Not really sure how, when, or why it changed. 😊
Some people put concealer on before foundation if they have blemished skin and a lot to cover. You don't have to use as much product and its better coverage.

My HG concealer! I actually think the lightest shade is perfect. I am fair skinned and have always had a hard time finding a light enough shade to highlight my under eyes- and this does the trick!
Oh my gosh was it just me or was this video especially rambly? Almost a 16 minute long video and I feel like only 5 of it was about the concealer. I like you Cassie but can we please focus on the product more next time

Hey Cassie, you may already know of this trick, but if you put translucent powder under your eyes (with a damp beauty sponge) as a base and then apply concealer and set again, it keeps creasing at bay.

I love this stuff. It doesn't oxidize on me, but my skin doesn't tend to oxidize stuff. I'm not even a heavy foundation wearer - medium, tops - and I love this stuff.

Cas, I love ya, but you always complain about makeup problems you could fix. You got priming down, but maybe bake your under eyes and oily spots, and set with a setting spray. Primer doesn't do all that for you.
lol I do powder my face and use a setting spray though ^^; The creasing under my eyes really is just because I have extremely pronounced undereye folds/creases
Kat Von D's concealer comes in EXTREMELY pale shades -- even a white.
I like to mix a little bit of the lightest shade (which is practically white itself) into the Shape Tape and it works just fine. The textures of the two concealers are similar, so it doesn't disrupt the formula of the Tarte Shape Tape.
