  • No one requested this, but I saw Spookyloopz using a similar build recently, and being a Xeno main, I wanted to get in on it to see how it fares. Well, let's be honest, whenever you want someone to do something, they never do it. I hope you all enjoy the video, and thanks for 500! This video was recorded before hand, but the tierlist is being made and will be released!
    What is Dead By Daylight?
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer survival horror game developed by Behaviour Interactive. It was released in 2016 and is available on various gaming platforms including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
In the game, players can take on the role of either a survivor or a killer.
Survivors must work together to repair generators scattered across the map in order to power exit gates and escape, all while avoiding being caught and sacrificed by the killer. Killers, on the other hand, hunt down and capture survivors to sacrifice them to an otherworldly entity called the Entity.
Dead by Daylight features a variety of characters from different horror franchises, including original ones created for the game. The gameplay revolves around strategy, stealth, and cooperation, making it an intense and thrilling experience for players.

On the topic of camping/tunnelling, I suspect a lot of people do it because they fail to understand how to apply/split pressure outside of camping/tunnelling, as the game really fails to explain the basics on how to do that.
It is really situational on when camping/tunnelling is the optimal play, and when it isn't. Though playing a lot of survivor has helped me learn more about the macro decision-making as a killer!
Once again, good video, keep it up, and I cant wait for the tier list!

Absolutely. So many people camp/tunnel at 5 gens, and I don't care if they do, but they're actively throwing if they're going against even the slightest of competent survivors. I consider resource management 100% more important in the early stages of the game. Getting hits, reducing pallets, etc. Just to make your mid to end game a bit stronger.
Thanks again, it's been so fun seeing everyone, and I got the tier list, revisiting the darkness revealed with Myers, and more coming. I appreciate the support!

Camping/tunneling is very situational bc most of the time it can cost you the match

Personally I will never understand the mentality of giving up when another survivor dcs now that we have bots to fill the slots. It's understandable when I see someone give up on hook, turning it into a 3v1, but the bots aren't that bad so I'm always so confused why people instantly throw....
As for tunneling/camping it's a viable strategy when done correctly but I think that goes for any play in the game. Like you noted to that one killer, doing so at 5-4 gens is just throwing, doing it too late is also accepting no more than a 1-2k against a good team, etc. Despite what people think it does actually take a bit of strategy & skill to tunnel/camp at the right time to apply enough pressure to turn the match around. Unfortunately it's often executed poorly and is notoriously given a bad light. Maybe one day this will change?
Excited to see the tierlist, keep up the great work!

For sure! A lot of the time, if you're not chasing the bots, they will hard stick to gens, which is the best thing a teammate can do in a lot of situations, so I don't understand giving up either.
I definitely agree. Macro gaming, understanding when and where it's correct to camp and tunnel is necessary to be good at the game. Understanding where to take chases, when to break off, it's all a little dance that elevates killers. I think a lot of it stems from people just regurgitating what they hear online, that it's necessary to camp/tunnel at 5 gens, when it's not true. And like you said, doing it too late is just as bad as well. It's all situational and I think if more people understood that, the game would be at it's healthiest! Glad to hear people are excited for the tierlist! Thanks again for the support and encouragement.
