I'd go for A10/B10 or 530 so the sprockets are wider, also much quieter under load I have "16hp" and I bang gears so the chain snaps occasionally. I just carry couple extra chains and links if I go far away from home, too lazy to do the sprcoket swap

if the bicycle sprockets are too weak then buy some 520 motorcycle sprockets for it they shouldn't break
Way overkill 420 chain is good enough that's what I run on my mower kart and it's got a 25hp Kohler command pro

Wish you would have put a steering wheel on it. Handle bars cool but steering wheel with suicide throttle cooler Awesome build new fan for sure.
Yeah you really need to have a very small sprocket on the transaxle and reenforce the sprockets more
If you stick with the belt setup make a tensioner get it really tight and grind the paint off before you weld your welds give me cancer
