I like how Jack is afraid of the clown, who barely did anything but be creepy, and he shot it to death. However, he wasn’t as scared when bob literally revived and climbed onto the car.
I think they are seeking immortality, as we see in the latest episode the red dude (forgot name) survived many things that normal people wouldn't be able to survive but he died eventually meaning that he isn't immortal but he still has a lot of durability. Maybe when they reach the point of immortality they will have to use Eyes to defeat the villain who will probably be the clown, although the clown does not seem to have anything against Skid and Pump which is kind of weird. Also in that one episode where the clown kidnaps a kid he was most likely a sacrifice for the cult.

I personally think he's just kinda his own thing, a random demon doing demon stuff for the heck of it.
