Not speedrunning by any means but these videos i keep seeing got me to redownload my emulator and the Jak trilogy! Having an amazing time all over again
They’re fun games! If you haven’t already tried, you should check out the OpenGoal versions of Jak 1 and 2 for PC. They’re by far the best playing experience outside of original console, imo
Big congrats on the sub 28! I also just want to say that I'm happy to see you're getting better at letting go of small mistakes and frustrations. Such emotional growth makes me more proud of you than the run itself!
@@BAGOTOV Before I ever left the arena, I performed an invulnerability glitch. When I unlocked the yellow gun, I dropped down to the lava and changed to the red gun. The TL;DR is that I did a frame-perfect damage/animation cancel on the lava using the spin-shot. Canceling the damage like that puts Jak in a state where he *can’t* do a lot of things like take damage, pickup ammo, grab ledges, etc. He also can’t swim or be grabbed by the sea tentacle. So, since he can’t swim, the game lets him walk over the water. We call that glitch invuln1. It’s a tad more complicated than that, but it’s the gist

Thank you! It’s still a day-to-day thing, but I’m always trying to keep the mental aspect in check. It’s been a game-changer
