🤣 Hey, I know EXACTLY that feeling, so I get it! Like I said during the reveal, our last sub had a bunch of cards graded below what we thought, but the time before that was GREAT. So, it's just such a crapshoot 🤷♂

It could be just me, but I don't like grading my PC. They look really good in one touches.
When I try to display my PSA slabs, they always tobble over because of the added height.
Thanks for tuning in! Yeah, I understand your preference to keep PC cards in one touches. We just prefer the PSA slabs. Although we do keep some cards in one touches, but that’s usually if they would grade poorly for some reason.
One huge advantage of keeping PC cards in one touches is that it’s a lot cheaper! Congrats on saving all those grading fees!
Watching this after the live. Saw someone said they’re sending to vault and then grade. Just a PSA about PSA, you can’t grade from the vault. Have to pull from the vault then sub to PSA.
Oh okay, thanks. Yeah, as I said, I don't know if I would trust that process anyway.
@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin yeah I think I’d want a raw card to come to me, maybe a crossover. But just was commenting cause maybe yall can mention it in a video. People may assume they can but PSA won’t let you.

@@bamaslammasportscards Yes! It's a little disconcerting that there could be that big of a discrepancy in the grades though -- just shows how subjective this whole "game" can be. And like I said during the reveal, there is no recourse -- maybe with graders notes coming there will be more accountability?
@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin have definitely had it go the other way too tho, absolutely clean cards get the bump down. My last order the 3 cleanest cards all got 9’s. Have the Witt rookie SSP from update that I’m gonna have to get the pliers out. Guess the old joke is true. "You know what PSA stands for, Please Send Again 😂
@@bamaslammasportscards EXACTLY! We had a Mookie Stadium Club SSP in our last sub that was maybe the cleanest SC card we've ever sent, and it got a 9. And it's in one of the new, gummy slabs, so haven't risked cracking it out again. Yet... By the way, the Witt SSP is a fire card -- congrats on that one!
So are you going to start sending to TAG because of the inconsistent grading at PSA? Rhetorical questions only.
No. Not yet. Just too much resale value left on the table grading with anyone else. The grading climate is definitely not ideal right now. It will be interesting to see what happens down the road.
Sabathia 1st Ballot HOF?
Tough call, but I think he gets the 75% needed in his first year. Over 250 wins, 3,000 Ks -- numbers that not too many more pitchers will get to. Plus double-digit postseason wins and a lot of exposure pitching in NY.
2nd question. This is real. When you cracked it did you send in the old certificate with it on the regrade?
No. I hadn't even thought about sending the old numbers in after cracking, but I've seen a couple people on UA-cam doing that once a year or so -- sending a pack of all the #s they cracked that year so PSA can deactivate them in the system. Seems like a good idea.
@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin just for the pop count alone I see the upside in doing it. Down side would be they don't change the grade out of spite.

@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin or send it separately at a later time? Have you ever sent 1 for a review ticket instead of cracking it and resubmitting? I see that on the PSA website but have never seen anyone discussing it as an option.
@@jmilb10053 Yes! That's Graded Card Review. We've done that with a bunch of other company slabs (BGS and SGC mainly) with some successful crosses to PSA 10s and some sent back in their original slabs (but you still pay the fee, of course.)
What we HAVEN'T done is resubmit a PSA slab for review. For instance, sending them a PSA 9 and asking them to review it and crack and reslab as a PSA 10 if it qualifies. I just can't see them reassessing one of their own grades -- after a grader and supposedly two other QA folks have examined it and decided on the original grade.
