1955 Topps is my favorite vintage set even though it doesn't have Mantle. The color and design is amazing.

Went to Walgreens the other day bought one of their value packs had a blister pack of series 2 from 2022 in it. Inside pull a 1987 Spencer Strider auto. Cool looking card don’t really PC it but I really like the way it looks.
Might be the best pull in the history of Walgreens value packs! Congrats!

I have one of the Elly clear acetates , I have his rainbow other than the 1/1 and all but two are PSA 9 or 10s

Topps chrome is going to be a debacle. One reason for the price is the big breakers. Who else can afford them? And I buy into breaks here and there, so I’m not bashing them. Just buy singles. Love the content keep it up guys.
Thanks Craig! At what point is Topps/Famatics pricing out even breakers?? It will be interesting to see how well breaks for Chrome fill after release week. Appreciate the comment.
SGC grades vintage cards all the time as authentic altered or authentic evidence of trimming
PSA does as well, but you have to ask for it. Say on the intake form that you want it slabbed with a minimum of authentic. They won’t automatically slab an altered card.
@@Blabbin_Bout_Slabbin I was referring to Chris saying SGC would probably grade that 53 bowman and a number grade, I disagree because they grade vintage cards as altered all the time and unlike PSA they will tell you why it got the authentic altered grade on the slab
@@dylanl3845 Ohhh, gotcha. Yeah, Chris is not a huge SGC fan and I’m very lukewarm on them, too. But I know a lot of vintage folks like them.
