Tori recorded her reactions to The Empire Strikes Back (Star Wars Episode V) and Return of the Jedi (Star Wars Episode VI) on the same day. It was quite an experience to watch both movies back to back. We think that you will enjoy this Reaction a whole lot!
In The Empire Strikes Back, the reveal that Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father was mind blowing! Meeting Yoda was quite the experience as well. Then Tori got to see Lando Calrissian try to redeem himself after turning Han Solo over to Boba Fett to be taken to Jabba the Hutt.
Now witness Tori reel in shock as she realizes that Princess Leia is Luke's sister, meets the Ewoks on the Forest Moon of Endor, watches The Millenium Falcon blow up the fusion reactor in the second Death Star, and sees The Emperor (Palpatine) try to convert Luke to The Dark Side of the Force.
Watch as she giggles when the Ewoks think that C3PO is a god and R2D2 gets upset with the Ewoks and shocks them. And so much more happened in this movie and this reaction!
Abby will be recording reactions to The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi soon as well. Then, afterwards, Tori and Abby will move on to The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and a Revenge of the Sith Reactions.

How did you react when you found out that Leia was Luke's sister?
There are Ewoks
The Ewoks were suppose to be tall and scary, but Lucas wanted them to be short and cute so it would sell more toys which is where he made the big bucks.
When that one ewok fails at slinging the rock away and takes himself down, most people are either lauging or like "oh nooo, poor little sweetheart!!". But Tori's just like "Come oooon, you had ONE job!!" xD xD xD
That was Wicket.
Tori’s not alone in that feeling. Some of us were too old to find the Ewoks anything but obnoxious.
@@noneya3635 I can see that!! I actually never recommend grown ups to start watching Star Wars if they haven't seen it, I feel like it's something you have to be indoctrinated to as a kid to get. But it isn't always true! 🙂
Revenge of the Ewok should be required material
Tori: "Literally me. Short and fierce",, Then she melts at the sight of a "furry" Ewok. I love you, Tori, never change.
"I need backstory!"
Oh, there's three whole prequel movies that'll fill you in. It's why people probably wanted you to start with the Original Trilogy first.
15:22 The moment I thought Luke was a lucky guy holding Leia. 😍
30:32 Somehow she always knew he was her brother?? 😲 .... sorry Luke, your sister is a freak. 😝
And Yoda in the chair next to Tori "May The Force Be with you Tori during watching Episode VI" 🤣😂😅
46:17 No, they're using the stormtrooper *helmets* as drums. You probably don't want to think about what they did with the heads that were inside them.
I heard they make good soup.
@dampersand......or how Leia got that fancy new dress in the middle of the woods. 😂
Well, they were gonna feast on Luke and Han earlier. Probably skip Wookie steaks, I hear it’s kinda chewy.
@@ronweber1402😂😂😂😂❤ team Jedi forever ✌🏽
@@c1ph3rpunk I just met you, but never change.
🤣
My love of Star Wars began with Return of the Jedi. The moment I saw Luke ignite that green lightsaber when I was 4, I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
There are scenes we will never see the like of again. When the camera tracks Luke fighting Vader from right to left, the steps and fallen ramp pass in front, obscuring the view for a bit. To me this gives the fight a sense of space and movement. In today's films they would never put something between the camera and the subject while instead trying to make every frame as unrealistically 'epic' as possible. I had just left the Navy when I saw this and it was the coolest thing ever. :)
Fr ❤
I was 3!
Thank you! You have no idea how much I needed this. I just spent 9 hours pulling weeds and cutting down thorn bushes all the while praying that I wouldn't give myself another heart attack.
"Leia, there's no way!"
You underestimate her power Tori...
Leia eliminating Jabba with her chains of captivity and objectification is pretty dope. She gets a little more to do this time than in Empire, so that's fun too.
That’s precisely what I like about return of the Jedi.
Probably one of my favorite reactions so far! Loved Tori's reaction to this one.
You just know the Ewoks probably ate all the dead and imprisoned storm troopers lol.
Regardless of anything related to story or character, the sound design on this film is so beyond the previous two. I do miss the smoke squib overdose of Ep4 though.
I always wondered why Luke never told them that not only Obi-Wan but Yoda trained him. That would have sent shivers down the Emperor's spine.
But it also would have given away that Yoda was still alive.
@@ronweber1402 Yoda was already dead by the time Luke met Palpatine...
Episode 3 wasn’t written until years later…I’m sure if Lucas envisioned a fight between Emperor and Yoda beforehand, then a line like that would have been included in the script
I shouldn’t think so. The Emperor is more powerful than Yoda and defeated him before. He wouldn’t be afraid so much as intrigued to learn how his old enemy finally met his end.
@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain Their match was pretty even. There was a goofy force explosion (they used the force explosion thing both times in Revenge of the Sith) and Yoda was small so he flew farther and wasn't able to grab anything, PAlpatine had longer arms and was able to grab the railing then hung there struggling to get back up. That's not a victorious decisive win, thats really just luck.

Thanks again. ✌
The actor playing Leia's new ewok friend was eleven year old Warwick Davis, who based some of his mannerisms on his pet dog.
George Lucas would hire Davis again several years later in the lead role of the movie Willow.
Obi- You have a sister...
Luke- Is it the only woman I know?
Obi - Your insight serves you well.
🤣🤣🤣
I like how neither Yoda nor Ben say he has to KILL Vader. He had to confront him to test how Luke responds to the situation
Because they expected he'd turn to the Dark Side if he didn't finish his training, and Vader told him the truth.
Luke: "I can't kill own my father."
Obi-Wan: "Then the emperor has already won."
If that's not him saying Luke has to kill Vader, then I don't now what is
And didn't he ALREADY confront him in ESB? And why can he kill Vader but not the Emperor? If you think about it, Palpatine WANTED Luke to kill Vader anyway! So they were really playing into Palpatine's hands all along. I think the "kill Vader" thing was personal. Kinda shitty that they tried to use Luke to fix their mistake.
Luke skywalker is the best Jedi ✌🏽
@@KidPrarchord95 That could be another case of Obi-Wan's double-speak - Luke immediately presumes "confront" means "kill" and is not willing to even confront his father, but Obi-Wan say he has to. There is also a potential interpretation that even as part of the Force, Obi-Wan could not foresee Vader turning back to the Light, so Luke's confrontation may have ended up in having to kill Vader.
The plushy riding shotgun looks like the secret love child of Yoda and Shrek.
Fun fact: Lando's copilot is speaking Elgeyo (sometimes also called Kalenjin), a real language found in Kenya. Thankfully the script had actual dialogue for the actor to follow so it actually made sense when the film was screened in Kenya
Apparently that made Nien Nunb hugely popular in Kenya.
That's so cool!
As you probably guessed, Luke offering R2D2 and C3PO to Jabba was merely a ploy to getthem into the place. Once in, R2D2 could position himself to toss Luke his light sabre at the appropriate time.
Favorite character = General (Also Princess/Senator)Leia Organa. Smart, brave, tough, capable.

Who else just showed up to see her reaction to Ewoks?
Personally, I wanted to see how she'd react to the whole sister thing. 😬
Reading the title of the video made me hear Ronnie Van Zant saying, "Turn it up."
🤯 You're so right. When you read it it's the same cadence as when he says that at the beginning of the song.
Always like your reactions, they are intense!
7:41 I love the detail of Leia walking into the windchime.
Also 11:50 Luke subtly turning Han so that he's facing Leia.
Does anyone have a copy of the screenplay? I've always wondered if these moments were in the script or if it was something the actors came up with.
The linguistic gymnastics required are simply mindblowing. “Are-too-day-toe-uh and See-3-pay-oh-uh to see Abber-jay the Ut-hay”. What in the worldwide universe could it possibly all mean??!!
Favorite Star Wars character, Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels cartoon. Great character, great show.
My favorite character and inspiration who has helped me not give up in life is Luke skywalker when I saw his mandalorian scene it really changed me ✌🏽💯
I can't lie, I give myself 12 seconds before me and forest speeder smash right into a tree
R2 and Yoda are my top favorite Star Wars characters
Leia is literally the only woman in the Galaxy. Who else could the sister be?
Dont froget Mel Brooks Spaceballs
"I see your Schwarts is a big as mine!"
"Now let's see how well you handle it". 😂
Mmmm. Pizza the Hutt, extra sausage and cheese please!
34:09 love the look Vader gives Luke…as if to say “you got some balls to be saying that, boy”
A big part of the Han-Leia romance was also that the actors were having an affair during the filming. 😂
Carrie was also mostly drunk and/or high during filming as well.
to be fair, lots of people were having an affair with Carey Fisher.
No. Ford and Fisher had no affair on Jedi...nor on Empire. They had one very VERY brief tryst during the filming of A New Hope in 1976. That was the end of any rendezvous between them. In fact, as far as Ford was concerned, that's all it was, sex with a co-worker. Fisher, on the other hand was very young and totally in awe with and infatuated with Ford. I think somehow, she never got over it till she died.

Even After all this time, I'd LOVE if they had a "Han Solo in Carbonite" shell for my refrigerator!
Another great Star Wars reaction, Tori 🙂 Just what i needed to relax and enjoy at the end of a long Sunday! It's amazing how much they cram into this one and I can appreciate the mind-blowing-ness of it all. As for favourite characters, well I have to say I share your love for C3PO greatly 👍 and I also really love Leia too. The outfit she wore in Jabba's palace became very iconic when the movie came out! It's nice to see Darth Vader's redemption here and Ian McDiarmid turns in a great performance as the Emperor too - one of the all time great movie villains. I also love how you chose to be all in black for this reaction which was a nice mirror to Luke choosing to wear all black for this particular movie 😁 I hope you'll actually do solo reactions to the other Star Wars movies too - the three prequel ones Episodes 1, 2 and 3 and after that the sequel movies Episodes 7, 8 and 9 too as well as the movie Rogue One. Been rather spoiled with you doing these last two and would love to see you do more ❤
This was my favorite Star Wars movie growing up.
Luke Skywalker, my favorite without a doubt
Same here ✌🏽💯💯💯💯
35:43 "That is no orc horn!"
My favorite character has always been Yoda. Ever since I first saw him in “The Empire Strikes Back” as a kid.
She was disobeying Jabba.
Best Star Wars character of all series is R2-D2 hands down. Most excellent little badass in the galaxy far far away. And don’t take no guff off anyone.
My favorite was always Chewbacca. I had a dog that looked just like him too lol.
Chewie was inspired by George Lucas own dog that can be seen in the beginning of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
I went from 13 years old in 1977 when I saw Star Wars to 16 years old in 1980 when I saw Episode v The Empire Strikes Back to 19 years old in 1983 when I saw Return of the Jedi in the Movie Theatre.
Everyone in the Movie Theatre was shocked and Gasped when it was revealed That Princess Leia was Lukes Twin Sister.
Anakin Skywalker was the Jedi who returned. He was Anakin Skywalker than he became Darth Vader and then he turned back into Anakin Skywalker.
Luke hinted at that when he told the Emperor that he was a Jedi like his Father before him.
Everyone in the Movie Theatre cheered when Darth Vader turned on the Emperor, In the original Darth Vader does not shout no. He just keeps looking back in forth until he silently Lifts up the Emperor and tosses him.
In the original the Force Ghost of Anakin Skywalker is portrayed by the older actor who was in the Darth Vader suit,
After the prequels were released the younger form Of Anakin Skywalker was used.
George Lucas did not originally plan for Princess Leia to be Lukes Twin Sister. He was going to introduce a new character but then decided he didn't have time to introduce a new Character and so he decided that Princess Leia would be the Twin Sister.
I REALLY like this movie when I first saw it, on opening day. THEN I really got to think about it and realized the Ewoks, little teddy bears, were created as a marketing ploy. Every little kid, including my nephew, I saw had a stuffed one instead of a Teddy Bear.
Remember, there were three years between each of the early movies and no Internet. So, any questions you had, you had to wait THREE years. The "Luke, I am your father" and "there is another" questions drove people nuts.
To me, The Return Of The Jedi was silly and had way too many Muppets.
Best to you, Tori! ❤
Which came first, Muppets take Manhattan or Muppets take Dagobah?
I'm so glad that you showed C3PO love. Reactors and Star Wars fans in general are always vocalizing their love for R2. 3PO deserves love too.
3PO is RAD
1. Best guess is that Han was Jabba's "trophy" for about a year and a half before the rescue.
2. Vader discovered Leia as Luke's sister because he could feel it through Luke.
Luke didn't know that until just before then.
3. Luke's light saber is green because he lost his old one along with his hand so they decided to make it green because it worked better in the desert background landscape.
4. Everybody is freaking out because Luke and Leia kissed mostly because she was trying to piss off Han. They didn't know they are related.
5. The "I love you. I know" was written into the script to get Leia the shot to say it to Han.
6. This was Warrick Davis's/Lead Ewok first acting gig. He was only 13.
"Willow" is his lead with Val Kilmer and worth a first time/share.
7. Awesome camera work with the race through the forest. Nobody in their right mind would go that fast.
8. Carrie Fisher said in her biography that the most satisfying part in her Star Wars experience was choking out Jabba.
9. Jedi is plural. With Luke and Leia leading the way they can reestablish the Jedi back into the galaxy.
10. Ford wanted Han to die in the last episode.
11. IMVHO this is the best of the original 6 George Lucas Star Wars. After the first six he sold it to Disney, and everything changed. Sadly
Warwick would go on to be involved in two different movie franchises: the Leprechaun series and the Harry Potter series.
@@passionsquietrage And numerous other roles in Star Wars, many who have names starting with W. He even had a human character who had no alien makeup or cgi, Weazel. Weazel was originally just a spectator to the podrace in TPM, but Davis' appearance in _Solo_ brought him back as a member of a pirate gang, the Cloud Riders.
@@TheMimiSard I forgot about that little cameo

Producer's note: we will be recording a reaction to that at some point. 😸

It's very clear that this conversation between Luke and Vader made Vader even more unsure/unbalanced and conflicted.
The sad submission in Vader's voice when he say "It is too late for me, son" and "If that is your destiny".
Luke to Obi-Wan: Leia's my sister?? Why didn't you tell me before so I would not kiss her??
Yoda to Luke: No more training you require. When I told you not to go to Cloud City to save your friends, you did not listen to me. So, no more training for you.
Luke to Leia: So, you think you always knew we were related & you still kissed me??
I always thought myself that Leia should've just told Han at that moment on the bridge Luke was his brother. Han must've been quite confused thinking Leia romantically loved Luke but then wanted Han to hold her.
I’m with you about C3PO. Probably my favorite character. He has some of the funniest lines. Great reaction !
The reason Luke burn Darth Vader's body at the end that's the way Greek and Roman Heroes were buried enrollment and Greek mythology
Sorry misspelled Roman and Greek Heroes
Great reaction. I would also like to commend you on your cute Calico cat.
Thank you! She's the star of our show. 😺
Darth Vader needed the suit to live (you will understand it more with the prequels), and without the suit only his rage and anger could keep him alive. When he came back to the light, with the suit circuits broken by dark force lightnings, there wasn´t chance to survive.

:) I love seeing the genuine surprise when Leah took her helmet off in the beginning. ♥ The Rancor was my favorite part as a kid! Loved that thing, was so sad it was killed. There was a whole back story for the guard guy who was shown crying over the Rancor. It was his companion since it was a baby and he loved it sooo much. XD love the reaction to Luke and Leah being siblings. That always get's gears turning.
If you notice, during the fight, Luke is in all black. After defeating Vader and refusing to turn, you can see the light colored flap on his tunic, revealing his commitment to the light side. Originally, the force ghost of Anakin (Vadar) was Sebastian Shaw, who played unmasked Vader in this movie. After the prequels came out, the changed it to Hayden Christiansen, who played Anakin in the prequels.
Replacing Sebastian Shaw as the Anakin force ghost was an absolute travesty. It makes absolutely no sense switching him for Christiansen.
@@jameslinham2733 If for no other reason than age - otherwise why no young Obi-wan? Oh yeah - they burned that bridge in Ep5.

Ewoks are cute af, but I'd rather hug Chewbacca (granted he's in a good mood). I also can't help but cheer when Leia chokes out Jabba with that chain.
Side notes:
1. The creature that killed that Twi'lek (green woman with tentacles/tails on her head) slave and almost kills Luke inside that pit in Jabba's palace is called a rancor.
2. The scene at the Sarlacc pit was shot in my home state of Arizona in the middle of the Yuma desert, while the scenes on the forest moon of Endor were shot in the Redwood Forest of California.

It's cool seeing the younger Gen enjoy these movies as much as a 14 yrs old boy did at the drive thru when they first came out and not hacking on the "goofy" (actually KICK-ASS😅) practical effects and whatnot...was groundbreaking at the time...the CGI has progressed SOOO much w the newer movies they've done the whole thing real Justice 🤘🔥 great reaction.. looking forward to the rest...oh.. there's actually a few characters (they're pretty cheesy too😅)in this movie that were added in AFTER the original release date to target a younger audience..
11:40 - About that guy that's crying over the Rancor's dead body.... put yourself in his place. That Rancor was to him, like your cat is to you. Sure, there's a massive size difference between the two, but that's how much he cared for that beast. So, of course he was going to cry about its death. Don't act like you wouldn't.

Grandmaster Yoda is amazing 💯💯💯💯✌🏽
For the record, Leia wasn't planned to be Luke's sister when they filmed Empire Strikes Back.
I think Lucas might've been considering it already. The "there is another" line wasn't necessarily always referring to Leia specifically, just Luke's sister, but I think having Leia be able to feel Luke's call through the force and then showing Vader doing the same thing right after was meant to at least set up the possibility for Leia being the Skywalker twin if Lucas decided to end Star Wars with the next movie
A new character was supposed to be introduced as Luke's sister and she should have her own trilogy but while shooting this movie George Lucas went thru a difficult divorce and felt worn out so he decided to wrap it up and end the Skywalker saga there by editing in Leia as the sister.
There's a bit of a story behind Luke's trip back to the Dagobah system.
George Lucas was concerned about younger viewers' reactions to the reveal of Darth Vader being Luke's father. A child psychologist he spoke with felt that these children would need confirmation from an authority figure before they would accept the truth.
Great reaction . this wraps up the Trilogy very well with the TWIN reveal and watching LUKE genuinely grow into his JEDI knighthood [ is that enough capital letters ? 🤣]
The furry creatures are called EWOKS ( fun fact they're never called that throughout the movie , we all learn this after the movie comes out ) and there was a Saturday morning cartoon series based on them as well as one called DROIDS which features the voice of Anthony Daniels C3-PO himself .

Wicket the ewok is played by Warwick Davis. This was before he would go on to play Willow, then Leprechaun along with 5 sequels.
Great movie reaction love this one
This is my favorite of all the Star Wars movies
I meant. The Moon of Endor
The true end of the Saga and it's a brilliant way to complete the story.
Regarding lightsaber colors as of this movie:
We've had 2 movies of "blue good, red bad", but a blue lightsaber wouldn't show up against a blue sky, so they changed it to green. Red still equals bad guy, though.
In a way, I wish reactors would watch Rogue One before A new Hope. Just so you know, the little furries were going to eat Han and Luke. So, at the end, they ate all the Imperial troops that had those helmets. There's a lot to feed.
The great conclusion to the story, with a very good Vader arc.
Tori
Little furry creature is an Ewok named Wicket. Forest Moon, Endor is the home of his species, Ewoks. Wicket is played by then 11 years old child actor, Warwick Davis. Davis stepped in as Wicket right after legendary little person actor, Kenny Baker became ill (Baker supposed to be Wicket). Davis has a long career in the business from being Willow to evil Leprechaun in movies. Davis had other roles in Star Wars Universe.
Tori
Actor, who portrays Darth Vader, remember James Earl Jones voices Vader was bodybuilder/actor named David Prowse. Prowse was going to voice Vader, but Lucas felt his voice wasn't enough menacing. So, deep baritone voice and actor, James Earl Jones hired to voice Darth Vader.

There's a kind of belief in the Star Wars community that all stormtroopers are bad shots. Well, one of them managed to hit R2D2, so there goes that theory.
There is a reason for Luke giving R2D2 & C3PO to Jabba.
Well you got Anakin Skywalkers
Story next how did he turn to the Dark side and how did he become Darth Vader
My favorite characters are 4Q2 and RT Deco.
You want more backstory ?--watch the prequels: you'll see a young Obi-Wan in his prime years and the jedi master who trained him. The first meeting of R2D2 & C3PO & more, you'll have all answers that you need.
