GTR’s are notoriously fast cars, even stock ones can put smiles on fresh owners faces! This Nissan’s owner can attest to that as he happily lined up next to anyone who wanted to race, even a couple turbo Honda’s and an angry 3 series BMW! These turbo 4-bangers and the BMW were equally happy to test their garage builds against the factory fresh “Godzilla” monster. Bonus dig racing and roll racing kept on for hours that night until it was shut down by a $400 ticket for one unlucky racer!

That's what other car guys don't understand about Honda owners we wanna have fun without spending all our money . It's not about winning it's about the experience the rush the family but it's always great to see the other guy getting pressed whilst all the lil Honda is just having fun doing what it can .

That BMW was an animal!! All around great racing from everyone. Enjoyed watching these type of races more so than the higher hp expensive ass builds racing each other.
I remember when I had my built turbo k24/k20, the hardest part was driving it. If I failed as a driver, most of the time that is why I lost. The high horsepower fwd cars are harder to drive imo.

YES A 335I ON THE CHANNEL
I live in Adelaide, the city where that series of Pontiac GTO were built. All 60,000 of them bound for the US were loaded by us wharfies. The first shipment of 32 were loaded onto a small freezer ship with Swinging Derricks, these types of cranes require two operators but we could do it better with one, the hatch openings were hardly bigger than the car and it was a skilled job. When the cars were placed in stow they were secured with planks and rope as there weren't points for tie downs.
The remainder were shipped on regular car boats which are as big inside as a multi story car park, some had room for 80kmh inside and the painted steel decks made for lots of Italian job type moments and it was a real thrill running down 10 decks in a corkscrew formation of slow drifting V8's. The decks were like ice so this happened at a low speed most of the time, you know we never thought that the Holden factory which produced them would ever shut let alone less than twenty years later. It still makes me feel hollow inside but also angry that our country gave this up, and when I came down the hill which overlooks the old factory it makes me sick that the Holden symbol on the building which was the first thing you saw 5 kays away, has been removed, with only a dirty mark to confirm it existed.
But seeing the cars we built still prowling the streets of America is confirmation we once were great, my Dad drives an Australian version and I will never part with my VL Turbo. And I'm babbling on having a Seniors moment but seeing that red GTO with the chrome alloys still on it was like a time warp. 1320 videos are fantastic and Kyle's laugh is fine ffs.

@@kkellerk23 my car is tuned and moded.and no issue I do all the maintenance my self . And my friends 335 is almost at 190k miles with pure stage 2 turbos and tuned at around 600hp to the ground not crank and both blocks are stock and unopened and both n54 .
