You taught me to colour my little die bits inside the paper they were cut from. Sure saved me a lot of time and frustration. If I haven’t thank you 100 times before, thank you Chrissie. Love the embossing folder.
Bees are cute little fuzzy critters aren't they? Interesting arrangement of colors, embossing/stenciling and fuzzy, buzzy bees to create a cute "New Home" card! Thanks for sharing your talents! 🐝🐝
Lovely unique card, the honeycomb is coloured brilliantly! You have inspired me to dig out my liquid watercolours as they sadly gather dust in a drawer. You're very spot on about the random things we pick up that look interesting at these shows, made me smile as we all do it.
I think the honey coloured background with the darker brown and gold of the honeycombe EF looks great, and love the way you have cut it out and added the sweet little bees beautifully glossy Chrissie. x
That honeycomb looks fantastic! Good enough to eat! Adding the stenciled background was a great idea. Lovely card! And I want to thank you for the tip about using a precision plate when cutting the mylar for stencils. It worked perfectly! 🩷👍👍👍
I don't get my embossing folders out nearly enough. This card is so interesting. That's probably the best honeycomb folder I've seen. I love the how all the little hexagons seem they're on different planes. Well, on to real life.
Amazed at your constant creativity! When I get a burst of something creative, afterwards it seems I've used up my creative gene for a bit and I go blank!
I love the bees and the embossing folder pattern looks like honeycomb. Perfect! Warm regards from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦where it is currently -17C and snowing on and off…
Great embossing folder and great idea. I have quite a collection of stamps and dies that have hexagons, bees, and honey so I'll have to reaccess how to use them!
Nice card Christine. I've never thought of using the bees/honeycomb for a new home card before. I normally use houses. Thanks for the idea. Happy New Year 🎉
Hello Christine. Tu as bien de la chance d avoir des magasins avec des articles pour nos fabrications . Ici sans internet nous n aurions rien. Moi non plus'j n aurai jamais pensé à des alvéoles et des abeilles pour une carte de new home . Mais c est top . 👏👏👋👋
Love this. A wee update re die storage. I found the tuff boxes impractical on shelf, too heavy to put up and down without dropping. However I put them in drawer, magnetic strips on greyboard, cut out dies with tack over and over glue on other side. I open box, without removing from drawer ( they are push in, spring open ones, in Besta units, with large space between them and cardstock shelves above), and can flick through and remove sheet I want. Storing plates in drawer too. Main worksurface is in front of them with diecutter , so really useful system. Thanks for idea.❤
Now to give you a laugh.... I bought the Tonic glitter pens. Removed yellow ring, as you mentioned. Then couldnae read the instructions as font is so pale and small. So I watched a vid on here 🙄, not your channel...I did as they said and shook to activate, nothing happened, shook some more, still nothing... Tried to pull off lid , didnae budge, so tried to unscrew.....😭 Glittery liquid all over my blanket !!!!! Found another video that said to press over scrap to activate, found it very hard to do, unlike my Kuretake watercolour pens, which only need a gentle squeeze. I also had to use plastic coated pliers to get lid off first 6 times. Then today I asked housemate (male variety) to change my bedding. While daughter helped me change pjs, he put new blanket on top of old one !😮 So new blanket is also covered in it....... Can I ask if you can compare Wink of Stella to tonic regarding pressure to squeeze and remove lid? I do like the actual content.. good job too as I guess my blankets will sparkle for years😅
I have learned so much from you with this honey drenched card, I loved every minute of it.(what can you use instead of the crystal glaze for the same or similar effect? The card turned out super sweet 😊
Lovely as always!! Especially tickled my funny bone to see you cutting out ‘honeycomb shapes’ with your Cutter Bee scissors. Don’t know why, just made me smile at the serendipity!
@@Chrissieannie Well, how about that! They look almost identical to the Cutter Bee scissors I have from EK Success! I may have to check out the Beaditive brand now. :)
it is again a beautiful card. i have a question that you have probably already told 1000x but i don't remember. the mat that you do everything on, that small mat, is not a silicone mat right, what is it then?

You could try PVA or acrylic glue . They leave a shine but no relief
You could put some sticky ink and clear embossing powder!
Lovely card Christine yet again.

@Chrissieannie I received my mylar sheets from Amazon but they are completely transparent and yours aren't, right?
