@DatxFlipxBoixRon im a huge manchester united fan (a red devil if you will) and i enjoy watching FC dallas growing up in the frisco/dallas area. yea the talent may not be on the same level, but there's never a lack of passion...and passion my friend is what drives this marvelous game!
i'm a galaxy fan, and i don't like the bulls, but in this moment, i was so happy that a american club trashed a club like juventus. i watched the game in the tv and i was sooooooooooo happy....
Football (soccer) is a growing sport in America, being 1/2 American yet born and raised in England this is promising. Once it gets big (and I seriously believe it will) they will be a force in world football. Already some class players in the national team eg Dempsey, Donovan, Friedal... Oh and Italian football is not what it used to be, Inter is the only good team!!
@loposaks Yes! Yes! New York played with reserves!! :) Angel played a few minutes and he's 35 years old. The young players of Red Bulls played very well. Juventus hadn't too happy season. They finished the Calcio and everybody of Juve wanted to go to vacation. But nobody can take off this score from Red Bulls.
@BeyondRelativity it's also a culture thing. in my country (the netherlands) the kids play football (soccer) really early. i was 7 years old and i played every day. i think in usa kids play basketball and baseball. but if the schools would give more attention to soccer the country would benefit. usa team is getting better ever since i started to follow them in 1994 world cup
it is technically a competitive tournament, however I did preface that by saying the europeans teams treat it more as a warm up. regardless of how the teams play, a tournament for a prize, is a competitive tournament, a friendly is something else but any time there is a tournament with a champion the tournament is "competitive". there is the same problem with the club world cup but it's still a competitive tournament.(cont'd)
Dude, You do realize that those games are called friendlies? This was right before the world cup 2010 so all major players were off to Africa. Juventus played with youngsters except for Del Piero and Trezeguet. So yeah, MLS ain't that bad but if you consider a victory against Juventus without the ordinary squad that important, good for you!
red bulls won that weird arsenal cup thing so that's something, and it could be considered a competitive competition, more of a warm up for the European domestic season but still something.
The fact is that a number of players who played for Juventus made their first appearance. I mean that they didn't play in Serie A games. Neither did they sit on the bench. And the season is over. They are all tired. + waiting for a new coach. Faliure Season.
@quagmag I find it hard to undertand how association football is one of the least most popular sports when America has 300 million people with many different ethnic groups(most being European).
thank you for regurgitating what I said, and I'm not a red bulls fan so please dont group me with them, also rvp lead the tournament in scoring and ramsey had a goal soo... B team I guess
good score for the red bulls i admit,they saw i chance and they took it,but i would like to see the red bulls play a whole year in europe,against bigg teams like milan,ajax,AS Roma,Inter Milan,Man United,Bayern,Fulham,chievo,lazio etc...the Coppa Italia,the champions league,plus preparing for the world cup! i think after a few games NY would be on the plane back! playing a whole season/year in europe or playing a whole season/year in USA is a bigg difference! but still good for NY;) just saying
@ronaldo555 no achievement?!? Im pretty sure the NYRB achieved something by defeating, no dominating, one of the most storied clubs in Italian, no World football. Friendly or no friendly. Are they a better team? Absolutely not but it does say something about how far MLS has come.
(cont'd) the only logical reason for this argument having made it this far is that you are thinking of "competitive" in the literal sense where I was using it in reference to the nature of the tournament. for example "the teams played a competitive game" and "the teams played in a competitive game" see the difference?
@hanselkksc not true. Title IX requires colleges to spend the same amount of money on womens sports as they do on mens sports. Also, which big time colleges dont have mens soccer teams? Just curious. The colleges CHOOSE to spend almost all of their budget on football with their 120 team roster and huge scholarships. Wait, I agree with you! Why am I posting against you????? Nvm!!!!
Juventus just finished the season in the Italian league, which means A. they're tired, B. have nothing to play for they're here to entertain us fans... had Juventus had a couple months of rest and their starters Red Bulls would have no chance lets be real now
@ronaldo555 NYRB played with more reserves!! Their starters this match have an accumulation of 17 starts! Once again: del Piero, Trezeguet, Grosso, Diego- no experience/no chemistry? Are you saying the NYRB reserves is more experienced than Juve reserves+ those top 4? STOP MAKING EXCUSES!
This shows how bad Juve is doing. Del Neri should've never took the job. He should've stayed at Samp where he would have the chance of competing on a world stage.
people people! before MLS fans begin to think ur the best now,it was the B team who played! its like the first time they play,so stop saying juventus sucks! wtf juventus A team they won more games then any MLS team,no offence! but still good game for new york,i hope they get better with thierry henry now!
@82Kriszta juventus was playing with reserves too, the real players are already in their way to south africa for the world cup juve would scrape with its real players cheers
I didnt know about your comment until yesterday, and if you could read you would see I tried to clear up the issue. also, if you dont care why did you go to my video and insult me, kind of sounds like you care.
Don't celebrate!! it was only an advertising match.. You know.. best players are now with their national team preparing the world's cup competition... DId you really think that Juventus were interested to win this match?
@DatxFlipxBoixRon The football itself is equivalent to that of the 4th tier of English football. I find it hard that people would take it that seriously considering the standard is that low.
@clark2400 arsenal lost it since henry left them in my opinion. it was the best playing club when bergkamp,henry and pires were playing. i bet ny red bulls are a quality mls team, i mean they have henry. btw the best way to drink red bull is mix it with red vodka! if i need energy i get some nose powder
I know how it works, I already said that in my first comment. also, ramsey has 34 appearences in 2011, regardless of starting or not he plays regularly for the top team. besides niether of us have the starting 11 from the tournaments so this conversation is mute, and you just keep repeating what I said in more and more words.
hey juventus didn`t play with reserves they play with the youth team only del piero diego e trezeguet are from the first team these kids are under 20 years old ...11 players from the starter team where with there national teams no way you can compare them anyways and another thing where the hell were the red bulls fans actually i saw more juventus fans in the stadium cmq forza juve and thanx to the red bulls for bring la vecchia signora a new york
@ronaldo555 does a friendly mean give 50%? These are professional athletes. Professionals do no like to lose! I do not disagree with your "facts" but it can easily be argued that the NYRB forced Juve to play that way. Here is a real fact: Fact: NYRB defeated Juventus 3-1
wish he could have gone to a team that isnt going to be fighting off relegation, but at least hell get to be a big part. also I already made another hoilett video
@kabzbkny so? u think del pierro and diego didn't play bad this year?they sucked,they played really bad this season! so if it's ghana,or new york they lose to,that doesn't change the fact that they played terrible! soccer is a team sport,not a one man sport! people in europe (italians) who watched Juventus closely,they allready knew they was going to lose! so people stop saying Juv sucks and NY is better,cuz if u meet the Juventus i know,they Kick ass!!!!
I respect the players of the team but i dont respect the team, I mean come guys, its kinda lanuage your team is called 'the new york 'RED BULLS' with the red bull logo everywhere, they seem more like a commerisal or ad then a pro football team
man... juventus is sucking badly... no intention to offend red bulls, but a team like juventus, that not so long ago was on top in europe, being goalied like that.. it's strange.. they can loose, but on their knees
@big24dawg1 Juventus played with reserves! not even subs! there was absolutely no chemistry between the players. And i will not deny that the MLS has not come far, however there is much work to be done and no conclusions should be done based on this game.
practically best at every other sport, I assume the four sports ahead of soccer are football, basketball, baseball, hockey. football and basketball for sure but baseball is a toss up and hockey no way, and as for every other sport, I'm not sure if america is the best at any of them. Maybe golf, but not rugby, celtic football, tennis and the list goes on.
@big24dawg1 the fact of the matter is this: don't make any conclusions from this game; it was a friendly, people had fun, now get over it and continue with life? Fact: the Serie A is much tougher than the mls. Fact: Juventus has a better history when it comes to many things. Fact: Juventus put on a bad display and lost.
@yeahdude7 MLS> A TEAM ,Juventus > B TEAM! u need a whole team to play a good game,not only a few good players,thats why there is a A team,and a B team!
@everyone THE NYRB PLAYED MORE YOUTH THAN JUVENTUS! JUVE STILL HAD DEL PIERO, TREZEGUET, GROSSO, and DIEGO and could only manage to put one past in the late stages. HAHAHA
@DatxFlipxBoixRon so the atmosphere is as good that they need to use trumpets? lmao most of the videos I see mls I always see people with trumpets... mls will never be as good as european leagues for starters america needs to change the name soccer to football...
@samluke8121 You have to understand that soccer/football is one of the least popular sports in America. Give it some time...the mls might be something one day
no achievement for red bulls whatsoever, this is so sad...if anyone thinks red bulls is a better team cuz of this game, you do not understand anything about football. I actually feel sad you those of you.
@greenman1694 man shut up about making excuses,every team or player can win,or lose,and have a bad season,u think del pierro didn't had a bad season 2? i'm not a juv fan,but i've watch them play this year,believe me sometimes i wanted to scream! but hey thats somthing americans don't understand!
ma non ci credo .... andare a perdere anche in america ..... ma stiamo scherzando? E contro una squadra che a mio parere è a livello delle nostre di serie B @loposaks: Maybe you didn't know what shitty football years passed Juventus this season. This is only one example. One Italian team which loose a football match versus one american team it means the Italian team got a lot of different kind of problem.
okey this is what i hate about the americans,not all of them! If they win against a bigg team like Juventus,they start saying that team sucks,or they r better! first of all juventus,they had a fucked up season,they almost lost every game they played,and now they lose against NY,fair! good game for NY..but common?to think ur better then juventus,just because u win a game?u guys clearly don't watch Serie A/european futbol. NY is far from better then Juv,even if u win a game..but okey,good game;)
Attended the game...fantastic atmosphere and great game! #99 played very well!!!!!
I want to join the MLS but don't want to go to college, how can I join please tell me all possible options
Grazie Juventus per tutte le emozioni che ci hai regalato quest'anno...
FORZA MAGICO NAPOLI!
i'm a galaxy fan, and i don't like the bulls, but in this moment, i was so happy that a american club trashed a club like juventus. i watched the game in the tv and i was sooooooooooo happy....

@loposaks Yes! Yes! New York played with reserves!! :) Angel played a few minutes and he's 35 years old. The young players of Red Bulls played very well. Juventus hadn't too happy season. @Curruptid so were the red bulls, so whats your point? i saw del piero and diego out there. they aren't reserves.
@norwegcat what's soccer?
it is technically a competitive tournament, however I did preface that by saying the europeans teams treat it more as a warm up. regardless of how the teams play, a tournament for a prize, is a competitive tournament, a friendly is something else but any time there is a tournament with a champion the tournament is "competitive". there is the same problem with the club world cup but it's still a competitive tournament.(cont'd)

I clearly said that this is just a pre season warmup tournament and you have proceeded to tell me that over and over again.
all of the teams stated are probably useing their B teams. Europe is and will always be better then USA at REAL football
New York Sutton, Hall (Stammler), Mendes, Clebao, Borman (Miller), Sassano (Albright), Tchani, Garcia (Richards), Ubiparipovic, Wolyniec, Chinn (Angel)
Juventus Manninger (Bardi), Zebina (Grygera), Brandao (Sialhamidzic), Grosso (Silva Falque), Bernadini, Marrone, Diego (Paolucci, Bellacastro), Candreva (Ekdal), Padoin, Del Piero (de Ceglie), Trezeguet (Amauri)
no excuses juve

@alessioboscolo I just saw now my english errors. Forgive me. Whatever I hope you will understand what I mean.
That was Juve's youth squad w/ a mixture of reg players
Why do you think Amauri was wearing the captains armband ???
im amazed how people just dont believe the fact that new york won.

@clark2400 it should have been van persie. and although he is the best player in the team he just is not on the leven of henry or bergkamp ( yet)
Juventus just finished the season in the Italian league, which means A. they're tired, B. have nothing to play for
they're here to entertain us fans... had Juventus had a couple months of rest and their starters Red Bulls would have no chance lets be real now

if Amauri was Juventus captain, they certainly had a shit starting 11 or didn't take the friendly seriously.
@MrAquinoflavio juventus has 2 stars and milan and inter just 1. juventus has 27 national titles. it''s still the greatest club of italy
@daguangrong uncalled for
che gol amauri O__O

@DatxFlipxBoixRon r u serious comparing them to europe.i guess u must be talking about basketball not soccer.
Il gol di Amauri vale più di tutti quelli fatti dagli amerikani
i was there
@Makemyday242 I couldn't agree more with you
I hate how Americans say a player sucks when they have one bad game or a team sucks if they lose a game

RBNY has easily beaten Juventus, Manchester City, Bayern Munich (Twice), Paris St. Germain, and Santos FC. MLS must be SOOOOOOOO terrible! LOL!
so you guys are telling me that NY red bulls would defeat Juventus if this game was in Serie A or UCL ?
yeah .. keep reaching for the stars.
it seems that when red bull get's involved with any sport they are succesfull. to bad their drink tastes like... i don't even know,it's bad.
@loposaks actually, juve's back-up goalies are terrible, if they played the redbulls w/ all their starters, they would have won
I respect the players of the team but i dont respect the team, I mean come guys, its kinda lanuage your team is called 'the new york 'RED BULLS' with the red bull logo everywhere, they seem more like a commerisal or ad then a pro football team
juventus threw this game cuz if they can beat real madrid,barcelona,and ac milan they cud KILL new york

It looked like Juventus were letting them win
@DatxFlipxBoixRon so the atmosphere is as good that they need to use trumpets? lmao most of the videos I see mls I always see people with trumpets... mls will never be as good as european leagues for starters america needs to change the name soccer to football...
Juventus did not play with even half of their strength. I bet the American paid a lot of cash for them.
@samluke8121 You have to understand that soccer/football is one of the least popular sports in America. Give it some time...the mls might be something one day
juventus seem to be losing to everyone now
@samluke8121 Mexican...not European.
@TheMEGAnalga , Reserve my ass! i was there, and i dont think Amauri, diego, and Del piero are reserves.
@norwegcat Nah man thats golf...
no achievement for red bulls whatsoever, this is so sad...if anyone thinks red bulls is a better team cuz of this game, you do not understand anything about football. I actually feel sad you those of you.

ma non ci credo .... andare a perdere anche in america ..... ma stiamo scherzando? E contro una squadra che a mio parere è a livello delle nostre di serie B
@loposaks: Maybe you didn't know what shitty football years passed Juventus this season. This is only one example. One Italian team which loose a football match versus one american team it means the Italian team got a lot of different kind of problem.
i dont believe it, wtf happen to juventus.
what going on here???? Italian teams likes to lose???? they don't have a winning altitude???? NY 3 Juve 1 and Dc United 3 Ac Milan 2 ????
This makes me happy. I hate Juventus. AC Milan all the way!
Juve played with 5 of 7 world cup players. NO excuses u lost to the red bulls LOLZ
okey this is what i hate about the americans,not all of them! Juventus obviously threw the game. Red Bulls want more revenue
