So cool ! I have always wanted to fish that area ,never have because of business responsibilities. However I do have many striped , blue and black marlin under my belt caught and released. One time backing down on a black it almost jumped into the boat because it was really upset with me. Never have I seen an angrier fish.
Hey man nice video it reminds me of when I went deep sea fishing and caught a 170 pound YFT and then a 200 or 250 pound blue marlin Those tuna are no joke and if the marlins dive deep like they did for you and me it’s a lot better fight than when they come to the surface to jump
@@FishAholicTV Your lovely lady friend will appreciate it too. All that moisture on the boat really softens up your hands and thumbing the line back on the spool or grinding the handle will tear 'em up on a big 'un.
Long story. But we are waiting for the spouse visa to be approved. Sadly it is taking forever 😞. Hopefully this year 🤙🏻. We met in the states when Karina was visiting her aunt who lives in Florida and I just moved to Florida. Her grandmother was born in Pennsylvania so that is how her aunt has dual citizenship here. My father in law didn’t get his before his mom passed. Fortunately though Karina was able to work remotely for 6 months while visiting her Aunt in Florida. I met her in the beginning of that at a random bar in Stuart FL when it just so happened to be Brazil night. After we met she went home and came back on her tourist visa for 6 more months. But sadly since we got engaged the United States threatened to throw her in jail at customs on her last visit. Good thing she is very smart haha 😂. So she read right through their interrogation. But it was scary for her. They thought she had reason to stay over her 6 month tourist visa. But she is not like that and was only visiting for a couple weeks and had a return flight. Sooo now we wait and I’m traveling back to Brazil now for our first Anniversary. She’s is a very trustworthy good tradition woman raised in a great Italian/Brazilian family and I love her! Thanks for watching and tight lines!!
Wow, am I proud of you young man I think this is a good experience for you and also fine man that sledding you fish with him I believe that name rings a bell for Montauk. If you get a chance, ask him if he ever had a boat in Montauk, anyway I’m just gonna begin to watch this video I’m sure you know that Captain Dave died. I believe he would be very proud of you as I am people like us have this extra chromosome it makes you want a fish. Somehow I was blessed and was able to make a living with that extra chromosome. There’s no doubt you have it young man, I’m sure you know my son Christopher he has it too anyway I’m getting a little popcorn and hopefully you catch blue but before I watch the video I wonder if you feel like me, I would rather be pulling him by hand the last 30 feet hold him there and let the people take their pictures. I would love to pull on one of them big spike fish. God bless you young man. Let me know if you receive this please.
Dam!!!! “Rich “, you’re the man, tell the wife I said hello. I used too date A Puerto Rican girl such wonderful family structure.” I know your wife is Brazilian”🐟on
Hahaha thanks bro! Yeah Karina is a great woman she comes from a great traditional Italian/Brazilian family. I met her in the states when she was visiting her Aunt. Her grandmother was born in Pennsylvania go figure. But she moved to Brazil and started a family and Karina missed out on getting her US citizenship her before her grandmother died. But soon we will be together full time and many more trips to come. We are crossing our fingers the spouses visa will be approved this year!
@@FishAholicTV Don’t worry it does take time, but you as a business man and all paying your tax and contribute to the US”they” look into too in more of a positive way. 🐟on

What a great way for us to start the year my friend. How are you going to top this one? Maybe some of the still pics your wife took?
Something totally different from his original vids but still a great video
800 dollar teaser thats crazy!
Hahaha yeah supposedly the guy who makes them makes 7 at a time and generally only 1 or 2 don’t break and get finished and sold.
Like I guess the epoxy will crack when trying to mold it.
That 1st blue looked a lot bigger any ball park on size? Great video

That first marlin had to be 1000lbs +, I think you both had enough 😆.
It’s something the setup with the reel is the same as the Jaws movie the first one
Hahaha yeah very similar. The first one and the best Jaws film.
🚨🎣🐟Much love and hugs and prayers in Jesus name ✝️☝️🔜👀💯👍
Nice Fish Day 1. What was the estimated weight of that Blue?
AC who has all the experience said around 800lbs and it looked like a female full of eggs.
Hey Chief, pour some water on the reel
Hahahaha 🤣
Get some AFTCO gloves on, Angler. You'll save a lot of wear and tear.
Hahaha will so! Next time. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you are catching some fish!
