Nice rescuing the baby owl. Best work you could have done today. Billy you should share that story with your boys, but also with Michael. He could make a new character for his paintings
It does not surprise me that Yanis has achieved 'star' status in your channel. He seems a nice bloke, hard worker, willing to learn and what's more adept at learning as his plastering skills blossomed. I really hope Alex gets his 5000 as I would love to learn more about Yanis, both young chaps deserve a bit of recognition.
OWL RESCUE!! 2 HEROES! I'm sure the Magical Moons will see this!! Perhaps someone could let them know?? Rescuing beautiful & special creatures is spreading.
I feel like Yanis is 1 of my great nephews, progressing SO quickly from 100% apprentice to 100% skilled craftsman!!! PLEASE tell Yanis that an old lady in Southern California is glowing with pride.
Yay! He’s got more than 5K! Can Yannis please say “Let’s crack on” in French??? I’m so glad you’re going to do an interview with him, how cool!! ❤ The owl was adorable and I’m glad you got him out of the drain as well.😊❤
I love how your dad grinned after his expletive, and Yannis looked at him. 😂 What I really love is how respectful Billy is of his dad. Welcome back Alex!!
I just rescued a Yellow Billed Cuckoo bird who was injured. I took him to the ASPCA as they have facilities for wildlife. Thank you for rescuing that owl! You made us very happy!
Welcome Home Alex, you were missed. Now the Library gallery will go so much faster. I love that little owl- so relaxed in Yannis hand and I think he likes Yannis. Well with Owls around you don't have to worry about gnats or mosquitos or mice all that much. That is what they feed on. Take care and stay safe guys !
I believe they are called burrowing owls, they don't get very big and they burrow to nest. Normally they burrow by tree roots but a convent is perfect ❤
Glad you changed your mind about the downstairs ceiling. Also, that gallery is SO overengineered, it's awesome. You'll be able to have a LOT of people up there without worry of collapse. I can't wait to one day walk on it.
Yannis!! Alex!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I hope this means 20 minute videos instead of 10. Not that we don’t appreciate all your hard work Billy, but you’ve a lot on your plate ❤
Will Michael provide a drawing / prints of the baby owl? And, remember the bird? He should make a drawing of the bird, too. What a sweet addition to the collection!
That owl was so cute and Yanis again says yes to everything, I just love it. I am still laughing when Billy's dad said a not so nice word, lol. Alex is back, Billy has helped a lot of people to increase there you tube channe subscribers, thats so nice.
I liked the idea of a coffered ceiling but agree also that just using the wood you already have makes more sense. maybe put a little carving or painting on the beams?
You sure did hit the jackpot with Yanis, he is an amazing worker! Hard to find such hard workers these days!! Have to say Billy i absolutely love your channel and look forward to each and every episode!! Love from Wisconsin USA..
Glad you're back, Alex! You rate pretty high to have Billy, daddy Petherick and Yanis stop everything to clean up the office for you. 🥰 The little owl was so adorable, so was the photo of Earnest. 💕
Second year another bird! Last year a baby crow this year an Owl! Yanis is a kind soul great with kids and creatures great and small, not just a fantastic worker and learning new skills!
So if you ask me, I would say that this bird may be a young animal, but it is already fledged. His plumage no longer looks like that of a nestling ... I think that is more of a full -grown bird ... a dwarf ear owl, they don't get bigger than 20cm and are also native to France ... but only in summer. They hibernate in Africa.
yay!! nice to see Alex back! and the owl rescue attempts with Yannis was so lovely... glad you guys managed to get it out of the drain - what a cutie he was too!
That looks like a ground owl from America. They live in burrows and run around catching mice and rats. It might have a nest in there and have kept the convent clear of mice and rats.
Well done Yanis and Billy. Love the reference to Steve Irwin as I'm an Australian. Crikey Yanis you both did a great thing. The floor has come on so well. Can't wait to see how it will look once it's finished. Thank you for sharing all you do.
Almost looks like a Saw-Whet owll but they are native to North America. They are little and look like a screech owl wiithout ear tufts. Saw-Whet owls make little flute-like hoots at night. So nice to see how you guys care about the animals. ❤🦉
Oh, so many questions I have for Yannis!!! Where is he from, how old, interests outside of building work, info about his family, favorite foods and how he met the Pethericks! Inquiring minds from Illinois, USA want to know!😂
Alex the Cameraman was suggested to me this morning in suggestions. I watched the video's there during breakfast and think it is going to be another interesting channel to keep tabs on. I took a look and subs jumped over 1,000 since this AM so it looks like many agree.
As you were doing your introduction, I realized that you probably do the same thing as I do, and that is to process ideas externally. Some people process their thinking internally, which means a person should take what they say as their final decision, whereas, those of us who process externally are always bouncing ideas off others before making a decision. For us, people should take the last thing we say as our decision. If you know how a person processes information and ideas, you will not be frustrated when some of us change our minds (sometimes very often).
The poor little owl. I hope Mum comes to get it. You did an excellent job rescuing it, both of you ! Maybe it’s mobile enough to find its Mother. Beautiful photo of Ernest he is growing up .
Questions for Yanis: 1: How did you meet Billy and the rest of the family? 2: Before meeting Billy and the rest of the family, what were your 3 previous jobs? Where were they? 3: You are what we call a ‘jack of all trades’ in Australia (meaning you can do pretty much anything you put your hands too), however what’s one thing you would like to truly master? 4: Can you name 3-5 people that have had a positive impact on your life? 5: If you could travel to any country in the world, where would you go? And why? 6: What is one thing about you that we don’t see on camera? eg: hobby 7: What is your favourite part of working with Billy and the family? 8: What part of France are you from? Have you moved far from where you grew up? 9: You are always happy? Can you put the reason for your smile into words? 10: If you could ask a question of the viewers, what would it be?
Welcome back Alex-looking forward to watching your videos. Question for Yanis: What got you interested in learning about renovation and what do you enjoy most about it?
We have owls out where we live, huge barn owls. Got swooped by one late at night, I think it wanted my small dog. Now he just sits on the pole and hoots. Thanks for rescuing the precious little baby.
Very cute owl. A few years back we had an adult and 2 teen great horned owls living in our back yard. Fascinating animals. Yours looks like what we call a burrowing owl here in Canada. They are small and burrow into the ground.
One of the reasons I love your channel so much is how you recycle and reuse. Rather than throwing things in the dumpster. Keep up the great work Billy and team!
The library project is coming along nicely. I’m amazed at the creation of the gallery and I wonder what that calm owl thought about being cuddled by Yanis. He had best start prepping for that interview because Alex had 6200 subs and counting when I signed on 😊.
Moving right along! I'm thrilled to see any kind of ceiling for the library. You are allowed to change your mind. The reuse of the beams is brilliant. YES! I would love to know a little more about Yanis. I feel bad saying that but he's become such a huge part of this channel and the mystery is too much not to want to find out more!!! Have a great week!
Nice rescuing the baby owl. Best work you could have done today. Billy you should share that story with your boys, but also with Michael. He could make a new character for his paintings
Brilliant idea 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yes! Michael we want an owl!!!!
It's definitely a Little Owl and looks fully grown ro me. Nice one lads for rescuing it. ❤ xx
Cute little owl love it and welcome back Alex!
It is obvious that Yanis is great with animals. That owl really loves the way he is holding him.
😂 Loved Micks comment “It’s a sh*t hole” 🤣
Well done Billy and Yanis for rescuing the baby owl 🦉
I can't believe that Owl did not scratch or try to run, it just stayed there in Yanis arm. Beautiful
Very auspicious!
I love owls!🦉
Not only is Yannis learning all these building skills he is also learning another language. Clever young man😊
Well an owl would account for some of the strange noises!
What a “hoot”…… owl in drain!
You should have a Glass ceiling on the top somewhere in the middle.
What a sweet baby owl! 🥹😁🥰
Yanis reminds me of my late husband. Body type, movement, and most importantly kind and gentle with children and animals.
Your choice of music today was a pleasure
❤️
Lovely dulcet tones. Hello, Alex.😊. No that’s still Billy today? Well great choices whoever.

So is another old lady from Eau Claire Wisconsin USA🇺🇸
And he’s got one in Texas too!!!
And another one in Australia 🦘🙃❤️
@@Linda-t3o Aaand that makes two for Australia, Canberra!
Yay! He’s got more than 5K! Can Yannis please say “Let’s crack on” in French??? I’m so glad you’re going to do an interview with him, how cool!! ❤ The owl was adorable and I’m glad you got him out of the drain as well.😊❤
Billy don't apologize for changing you mind about the ceiling. It's all part of the creative process. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us❤
I love how your dad grinned after his expletive, and Yannis looked at him. 😂 What I really love is how respectful Billy is of his dad. Welcome back Alex!!
Oh the baby owl! Cuteness overload! ❤
Don’t we all just adore Yannis? What a gentle young man!
Love and respect from Canada

Yannis saying let's crack on ❤😂🎉 was adorable Billy 😍
Great music 🎶! Happy you and Yanis were able to rescue the baby owl. 🦉. Welcome back Alex🙏❤️
Do you know the name of the first piece of music?
@@BMS808 I'd love to know that too!
I just rescued a Yellow Billed Cuckoo bird who was injured. I took him to the ASPCA as they have facilities for wildlife. Thank you for rescuing that owl! You made us very happy!

That owl is precious! Cuteness overload 🦉 ❤️❤️❤️🦉 the music today was so relaxing
So adorable❤😅
Yanis the baby owl whisperer !
Welcome back, Alex- and let’s get that channel started🎉🎉🎉
Makes me chuckle whenever I hear Yannis say “let’s crack on”.
I believe they are called burrowing owls, they don't get very big and they burrow to nest. Normally they burrow by tree roots but a convent is perfect ❤
That is a full grown owl. Large owls will sometimes eat small, burrowing owls.
Love what’s happening with this convent! It’s amazing. ❤
The pigeons in the attic would explain the strange noises you keep hearing Billy xx ❤
The convent desperately needs a Roomba.
wow the music today so lovely
Will Michael provide a drawing / prints of the baby owl? And, remember the bird? He should make a drawing of the bird, too. What a sweet addition to the collection!
Yanis is a real man's man, kind to children and wildlife. What a guy!
That owl was so cute and Yanis again says yes to everything, I just love it. I am still laughing when Billy's dad said a not so nice word, lol. Alex is back, Billy has helped a lot of people to increase there
you tube channe subscribers, thats so nice.
Glad you Billy and Yanis saved the little owl . Well done. The beams are going in quick and fast now. Nice to see Alex back 😘
Great rescue of what I think might be an adult ‘Little Owl’ 🦉 🩵
Your Dad is awesome, and it’s great that there is 3 generations of you including your grandfather, wow. Cool. Actually 4 including your Son 😎
I liked the idea of a coffered ceiling but agree also that just using the wood you already have makes more sense. maybe put a little carving or painting on the beams?
Put Michael to work painting beams...maybe an owl or two
Such a beautiful owl!

Great idea for the ceiling! It’s gonna be beautiful ! I say that for each project! But it’s true!
And Alex, I’ve already subscribed!! C’mon people, get him to 5000!!!

Steve Irwin “ Crikey let’s rescue that owl “.
That looks like a ground owl from America. They live in burrows and run around catching mice and rats. It might have a nest in there and have kept the convent clear of mice and rats.
Does nothing ever faze Yannis he copes with everything with such enthusiasm bless him
Thanks for sparing us the sound of the saw. Loved the classical music. You’re all legends, and subscribed to Alex’s channel.

Loving seeing Alex on his own channel
Yay welcome back Alex!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Fair play to Yannis, he was super speedy in catching the baby owl!!👏🏻👏🏻 and from all places the drain! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
It's a beautiful burrowing owl.

Aww what a cutie, hope the mother reunites with it
Alex channel is 7,000 subscribers now. Thankyou for helping the owl!!!
Poor little darling was traumatized. 🦉
The poor little owl. I hope Mum comes to get it. You did an excellent job rescuing it, both of you ! Maybe it’s mobile enough to find its Mother. Beautiful photo of Ernest he is growing up .
The gallery is amazing. Have not watched for a while. Music is beautiful

Yannis was friends with Sadie’s boyfriend, that’s all I know
Oh...how cute is that precious owl!
That is a juvenile owl that no longer needs it's mom. He/she is looking for a place of it's own. Looked to be a Athene noctua
Common name: Little Owl
Welcome back Alex and your fur baby 😘😘🇬🇧
Looks like a Burrowing Owl. We have them in North America. They are common in Prairie Dog communities.
We all could benefit from having a friend like Yanis!! Love the build, great job.
Very cute owl. A few years back we had an adult and 2 teen great horned owls living in our back yard. Fascinating animals.
Yours looks like what we call a burrowing owl here in Canada. They are small and burrow into the ground.
Oh sweet Billie that will totally match and still staying within what the Convent had before!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I think that is what's called a Little Owl
If it can fly itll be ok now. ❤ Thank You.
The place where the plaster has come off the gallery wall looks like a sasquatch!
It looks like a Little Owl (Athene Noctua). They are quite small even as adults, only 22 cm tall.
Love that you rescued the baby owl!❤Looking forward to the interview with Yanis.
The little owl must have been hot going underground like that. Great save.
As always, awesome camera work and editing Billy.. Love Micks direct honesty ❤..The office was a sht-hole.. LOL.. Awesome job Yanis..!!
The owl was what's known as a Little Owl. Now we know what was causing all the strange noises in the convent!
So glad to see and hear from Alex! Welcome back! Subscribed! 😀
One of the reasons I love your channel so much is how you recycle and reuse. Rather than throwing things in the dumpster. Keep up the great work Billy and team!

Great video today. Loved the owl and welcome back Alex.
I was thinking the same thing about the ceilings. Glad you decided to stay true to the convent!
Yanis acquired another skill!
We have the owls in our forests that screech like wild monkeys very loudly. So cute.
I found Alex's channel yesterday and subscribed. I have loads of questions about Yannis but mostly the tattoo stories. Fabulous music today.
Moving right along! I'm thrilled to see any kind of ceiling for the library. You are allowed to change your mind. The reuse of the beams is brilliant. YES!
