I tried crawfish for the first time yesterday, was my first ever invertebrate i had 2 they were very delicious now im looking into trapping them as they around 3 dollar oer piece rn
I went to main the last couple of days, I had a lobster roll every day and splurged for the vacation! The lobster was so good and buttery! The haddock in Maine was really good too!
Oh yeah lobster is wicked good! Did you see my video on Haddock fishing from this spring? You should go out on a party boat and catch your own next time you're up here. It's only like $70 per person for an all day trip
Live Free Fish More ooh! That sounds real fun! I’m actually trying to learn how to fish! All these catch and cook and seafood videos inspired me! I want to try to buy my first reel and rod this weekend! If I go back up to Maine, I might try that
I did a crawfish boil this past summer and only had a couple dozen so I picked up a lobster to fill me up. Gotta tell you the crawfish are so tasty and tender I actually prefered them over the lobster. I added a little Tony Chacheries to the butter to kick it up a little....hahaha and then you broke out the Tony’s. Good stuff.
The boiling method causes almost instant death, or slicing down the back of the head, also instant, crawfish and lobster are crustaceans so they don’t experience Pain at the same level as exposed organ animals like humans or pigs for example, they don’t have the nerve endings to the skin or organs, any pain they feel is a result of mostly organ failure or parasitic problems, hope this helped ease watching this :)
Give me the lobster. I can't do crawfish so far..ive tried, and they were just too fishy tasting for me,but maybe someday i will like the crawfish. Now lobster i can do every single day and not get sick of.
I don't think it's necesary to use the salt method. Check out my other videos on crayfish. In my "How to Trap Crayfish" video I show how I purge them and how gross the water gets after they are purged! Pretty crazy.
i've had both. i like crawfish for the flavor it goes good in other dishes as a meat component. but if you want to just sit down and eat shellfish lobster wins.
Normally you’d keep the pot with the holes inside the bigger pot. That way when it’s done you can just pull all the food out of it with out needing to drain it manually:

Hi guys, I have given crawfish a try 3 times. I can tell you that there is no "Dang good eatin" associated with this. I get it, They look like lobster. They suck. Don't bother.
I cant hang with Lousiana crawfish boils and boils trick my taste buds it be so good then I'm racing to find a ice cold glass of water the spice put my mouth in flames
You don't want to boil a dead crayfish. What does that mean? How about . . . you don't want to BBQ a dead steer (steak) only a live one? That doesn't make sense and it is soo cruel to the poor crayfish to be plunged into boiling water. Try doing that to your hand and see how it feels, your cruel monster.

The liquid is why it was super spicy. It's a very concentrated liquid and no way would I use the whole bottle.
Awesome video! I always enjoy the cooking vids!
I'm not much of a chef, but I can cook some things!

I can’t believe he sat that slotted pot on the ground.
Didn’t think we had crawfish in arizona turns out there’s a shit ton, definitely trying.
Nothing like a good Maine lobstah. They're wicked good i'll tell yah
A lil tip: don’t put the plastic from the seasoning in the pot
I went to main the last couple of days, I had a lobster roll every day and splurged for the vacation! The lobster was so good and buttery! The haddock in Maine was really good too!

Goddamn Am I ever hungry for Lobster after watching that ! (again)!
Where do you buy the inner basket for the pot?
I’ve only previously had a lobster tail, now I want to try a whole one. And I am also curious about Crawfish as well now.
The clawmeat is like butter..
Cool comparison...Me, I luv crawfish boil
I just barely realize you guys cooking the lobsters
I caught crayfish in creeks my whole life. Tom boy here. Never ate! Lol

I eat a 6 ounce lobster tail, but I never eat a crawfish. I could try crawfish someday.
I love crawl fish lobster and crab but to me all this looks sad and terribly painful

Awwww man that looks good!
1-2 lobsters ? Nah...at least 6 lobsters 1 3/4 pounds each. One i had 12 lobsters for dinner
This dudes super talented!
Is it me or did that that lobster have one giant claw?
Give me the lobster. I can't do crawfish so far..ive tried, and they were just too fishy tasting for me,but maybe someday i will like the crawfish.
Now lobster i can do every single day and not get sick of.
Aren’t you supposed to put them in the friedge first so they don’t suffer?
lmao yeah
Surely that would make them survive a little longer?
You can’t put to y Saturn Ed on a lobster?
how do you purge? i keep seeing salt purge

Looks dang good to me. Try Amish butter next time if your store carries it. Lawd have mercy. 🇺🇸
Was the lobster and crawfish okay at the end of the event?
Normally you’d keep the pot with the holes inside the bigger pot. That way when it’s done you can just pull all the food out of it with out needing to drain it manually:
That looks really delicious
I am sure they did not feel a thing. After they were dead.
Damn that looks tasty
Next time try a Florida spiny lobster way better
If any of them just happen to be dead though, if there's several hundred how could you somehow filter out the Dead ones?
Exactly they are literally baby lobsters
When I was young I thought crayfish was baby lobsters😅 but to me the taste similar
Ok you may love crawfish but it will never co.pare to Maine lobster!!
a lobster is basically just an oversized crawlfish
You need help we'll cook on a boil Lord have mercy
Speaking of the worst ways to die.

Looks great! Next time you should throw in brussels sprouts, a whole bulb of garlic (spread it on bread, mmmm), and some eggs to hard boil.
I liked and subscribed but to be honest I feel like calling it a tie is a rip-off
I cant hang with Lousiana crawfish boils and boils trick my taste buds it be so good then I'm racing to find a ice cold glass of water the spice put my mouth in flames
Haha! There are definitely multiple levels of heat you can put in the boil.
You need to get Louisiana seafood boil.. it is wayyyyy better
crawfish the best
It’s sad to see them boiled alive
I wish i wasn’t Allergic
That's rough!
I crawfish
PS iI hate hot spices
I musta missed my invite - dammit!
Always next time! Burner worked good!
I think crawfish taste like spongy dirt. Am I tasting something others don't?
gout ?
no
LOOK AT TAT THICC CLAW
oh yeah!!!!!
@@livefreefishmore1008 But I gotta say, that THICC claw was pretty good
It should've been just plain steamed for both
Ismail Topa plain steamed crawfish?! That’s sacrilegious
It funny how you call them Maine lobster, they are north Atlantic lobsters,as lobster don't belong to a nation
Maine is a state not a nation (United States Of American) is the nation. Just saying
A lot of people call them Maine lobster because it's kind of what the state is known for. I'm sure they're just as good from Canada though.
😑

You don't want to boil a dead craw fish? What difference does it make killing them swiftly right before boiling them? Too lazy?
