- Here are the top 3 improvements I want on the 2025 Polaris Mountain sleds. What changes would you like to see for next year? SnowCheck starts on March 4, 2025!
Polaris 9R Boost?
#polaris #snowmobile
Sled: 2024 Polaris 9R Khaos 155 325 Series 9
I love my 9r. The munster finger throttle is awesome no complaints. I wish the manufacturers would get a reality check and lower the pricing.
Or at least stop increasing them every year
Because people keep buying new at those prices. Thats economics and market. I never pay msrp ever or I dont buy
@@ryakin7637 I don't know anyone who pays msrp .
The MY25 Polaris RMK sleds have a new Throttle Block, Thumb Flipper, Coated Cable and changes at the Throttle body end. There is no "socket" for the snow to get packed into and become ice. A new P22 Mounting Bolt, Cover and Forged Spider was also announced for 9R and Boost powered sleds.
They have GOT to address that stupid clutch bolt that is leaving so many people stranded. I'm super happy to hear that you haven't had any issues though! And that 3.25 track has completely impressed me. So many Doo queens were predicting these tracks were gonna be falling apart and I haven't seen 1 issue with them - even with the low snow conditions we've had this year. We're gettin dumped on now in Island Park and West Yellowstone though - feet upon feet!!
I’m loving the track. Tons of snow up here too this week 👍
I always carry a ice defrost spray in my tunnel bag, have saved me many times especially when it's very cold. Highly recommend..
Some thing polaris needs to fix is the cluth bolt for p22 and air intake thats make them boog in deep powder condition
I forgot to pack some last ride. I had a small can of it!
I think they need to address the primary bolt shearing off, the rear of the hyfax rails, and the rear boogie wheels. I forget the kit name. Turcotte has it on his sled. They fix this, and it's a solid sled.
What's happening to the rear hyfax rails? I believe you are thinking of ice age hellfire wheels
@@machine7767 Yeah I think I was thinking of the front "anti stab" garbage. But to be fair, the hyfax rails as a whole should be redesigned. When there are aftermarket companies out there producing parts to fix the front and rear of the hyfax, it's clear Polaris effed up. I see for the 2025's they brought back the fronts of the hyfax rails.
How would you say the 3.25 track compared to the 165 2.75 track in hard snowpack?
In firm conditions they are pretty close. Any amount of powder or weak base and the 325 is better
You need to get a wheel kit bullet blow those plastic ones right out nice sled
I’ve never ran a big wheel kit. I’m interested….
I want 9r now
Such a fun sled
Love my 9R also I went to after market throttle block works well .
I'm hearing Polaris is coming out with new throttle block.
Yes the Doos have the same problem , I ride with Doos their throttles stick
Which throttle block did you buy?
You should replace your throttle cable you got moisture in it now so it will keeep freezing up
That might be it. I think the problem I had was a chunk of ice in the throttle block where the cable passes through it. I had my thumb warmer on and after taking a break, the melted snow froze
Rail end caps come back for ‘25?
That would be nice!
You forget the starter drive by wire sound super cheep
What do you mean?
@@JasonCaville
the starter is not directly bolted to the engine it is bolted to the chassis and it is a cable which turns the gear and it is a bad system which vibrates and is noisy and not reliable
@@fuzzy176 Gotcha. I never order electric start as I want my sled as light as possible. I’d love to have the Shot start like on the ski-doos
First, and only improvement should be switching to skidoo. I’m not brand loyal I’m just QC and reliability loyal.
Also a moron
I agree that the Summits are better quality overall. I wish they could drop 30 lbs and offered a vertical steering setup plus offline buddy tracking
Muskoka showed the work around for buddy tracking to 7s display
For non 7s riders for any brand
@@randylee2549 Did he install a Voyager Pro?
