- Vertical Artisans just wanted to share some tips and tricks in staining the Hardscape System with Tru-Tint stains from Walttools. Nathan Giffin breaks down the staining process by the numbers that are really easy to complete.
The Stone Matrix was used to create the stone pattern on the Vertical Decorative Concrete project. Watch how subtle the color transition is while providing a very engaging color contrast with the very nice color flow.
There is also a great tip on using kitty litter during the staining process. The use of Orange-Crete brushes as large faux brushes while diamond blocks are used to add to detailed highlights to the dry stacked stone.
Vertical Artisans offers online training and hands-on classes that illustrate the methods, styles, and techniques of hand-carved vertical decorative concrete along with many other interesting art forms.
We are also a community of professional artisans skilled in a variety of decorative concrete building crafts. Visit www.VerticalArtisans.com to learn from the very best in Vertical Decorative Concrete.
Visit www.Walttools.com to learn more about the staining products or tools used in this video. They also carry the very easy to use Hardscape System line including the STONE MATRIX.
The ORANGE- CRETE brushes are what Decorative Concrete professionals have come to rely on with the Orange-Crete brush is its unique “density” or fiber design that we called “Exploded GF Split Fibers”.
This unique engineering and manufacturing process is what makes our brushes the best in the industry.

I love what done, does it wash off over the years with rain? I doubt you'll answer but I have to try.
Yeah it does I think that is happening to my house🥴
Excellent. You guys supply in uk?
Where do you buy the molds?
Where can I get those colors ?
This is amazing, we are looking at a house that someone has painted the rock wall all white. What would you recommend to do as a base color to start with and then follow up with this process?
I don't mean to speak out of turn ..but I would sand blast the white off of it, saving yourself a lot of work. Then, you could have the raw concrete to base your work on.
Que clase de pinturas aplicas para el concreto puedo comprarla por Internet gracia eres un artista maestro desde España
should you cover the finish with a clearcoat?
Bro do you wash of residue like the do acid stained floors?
Just like ArcaStone coat.
Hey, faux artists! Good job!
Are those colors an oil based? I'm assuming they're totally permanent, being outside and in the sun.

👍😮🤗
Does this work on Notmal concrete
What is the COLOR spray ?
Do you have to seal it after or is the stain UV resistant?
I have the same question, did you find the answer Andrew?
@@manoloveliz5472 Yes, I believe the pigments will fade over time. In at lease one concrete business I came across, they utilize this to create another line of business where they offer "re-color" of old work that has faded. So I guess nothing lasts forever my friend!
Yes! Seal it with Tru Block from www.Walttools.com It's a natural looking sealer with no shine.
Do u put the color when the concrete has totally dried .. when does it go on
Vladimir putin
Yes, dry
