I'm in favour of a reasoned, secular approach to governance, which Muslims would certainly be a part of in our society, since... they are a part of our society. I used to teach maths in Birmingham, and I found that teenagers raised in the Muslim faith were exactly as likely to lie, to forget to do their homework, to pull their socks up and try harder, as Christian, atheist, or any other teenagers.

There are people out there who would rather grow their own vegetables and have no money, than live in a country where all sense of European identity and culture has been eliminated by Islam and mass migration.
What did Tice mean to say when he kept saying "per person"? I can't work it out.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't understand what "recession per person" means.
The normal measure of a recession is two consecutive quarters of negative growth across the entire economy, so we might end up gaining 1% growth across the country and there's no recession, but by handing out 1.4 million work visas last year to achieve that 1% growth, you're then splitting the GDP between an additional 1.5 million people, so the net result per person is a drop in GDP, aka a per-person recession. We have had 7 consecutive quarters of the Tories handing out work visas and diluting GDP per person down, without bringing any real wealth to the economy.
Mass migration is hugely damaging to a country when migrants are not building a house when they get here, and when we have astronomical numbers like 1.5 million last year, we don't even have the skillset in this country to undertake such a massive civil engineering project of 1.5 million new builds in a 12 month period. As a result rental properties in the UK end up with the rental cost going up, while floorspace goes down, as the only option to house 1.5 million people in existing properties is to divide up more family homes into 5 bedroom HMOs for migrants to cram these people in to what's left of our housing stock.
Mss migration is always a race to the bottom.
