Liminal Voices Podcast I Doruk Öztürkcan I She Past Away

My interview with Doruk Öztürkcan of She Past Away was filmed in on location Tijuana, Mexico. It was shot as a part of a pilot for a T.V. series to be called Liminal Spaces. It was to be a travel series were I would visit obscure locations around the world and always stop somewhere and see a band or live performance and talk to that performer(s). if the venue had a storied past, I might just do the episode on that location and it's history.
The series had interest from studios, such as Vice and MTV Europe. Unfortunately they wanted to hire their own talent. I wasn't gonna sell unless it was with me. In short, the pandemic was the nail in the coffin for this production. TBH, my producer was already turning it into something I never wanted.
There was 2 closeup camera angles.The reason you see Doruk through a Go Pro lens is because I never got all the footage that was shot. Like a 3rd. Even tho i was under contract to get it asll if the show didn't sell.
Anyway, the loss of this show pained me for years. I learned a lot from the experience. Like what i didn't want. Like the fact during my talk, my producer had thrown in some questions with mine. Most sucked, a couple were embarrassing. I cut those out and left, like, two. Let me know in the comments if you can guess which weren't my questions.
