The question is… if they’re showing Munoz inside by marking the outside of him. If Olise was on the pitch would that fullback be able to mark him the same? No. Because they’d be scared to leave Olise open and potentially one on one. We need to replace Olise with a world beater. If not, this system is dead in the water. And we need an attacking minded leftback.
Ebbs is currently leading the premiership on shots from outside the box which is very revealing on how he has been playing recently. Ebbs is not laying off the ball and making ghosting runs into the box. Instead he is playing as an individual rather than a team player and shooting from outside rather than laying off to a better positioned team mate. Maybe he is trying too hard to force a goal and now and then it may result in him scoring a worldy but 9 times out of 10 his shot is sailing high and wide and another potential dangerous attack fizzles out into nothing. It seems his play has become quite selfish and desperate and a little lazy and I personally believe he needs to be dropped to the bench for a while.
Our biggest issue by far is the abysmal attacking play of our wing backs, they are absolutely atrocious in the final third this season. Munoz in particular looks woeful.
Can't understand the situation with Wharton. Why take him to Forest and sit him on the bench. Surely if he needs an operation then he must have it NOW ! Having a fit Wharton and Decoure would change things massively for us. Still worried we have no leadership on the pitch. As soon as we went 1-0 down then we were done for the other day. A true leader on the pitch would have got something better out of the players. We must also remeber we we playing a Forest team without MSW who was a big loss for them. Worrying times . I truely believe Glasner will be going as I cant see things changing ... sometimes though hope springs when you least expect it .. we surely need that to happen for us right now.

I'm sorry Stan but Glasner really hasn't been backed 100% for this system to work you need 2 free flowing wingbacks. And I can't get my head around this ismala sarr love. He's a decent squad player nothing else maybe I'm being harsh in comparison to olise and zaha in the past.
Also our pressing was a huge factor in our success winning balls higher up the pitch n then hitting it straight to wings for olise/munoz to create. There is no pressing from us what so ever thus allowing teams to have time to make passes n players to move up towards our goal more easily

If it's the same old and a rehash of the Forest game, then Glasner will have moved himself halfway towards the door.

We're not getting the ball up the pitch anywhere near as quickly as we should, nothing on the wings, Guehi was backed up with comments that he can do everything Andersen can and then some yet to see it, no leadership, no one driving the team, Kamada wasn't amazing but no one was, he made a very clever run when Mitchell was in possession that he absolutely should have found with a ball over the top. Instead Ebs & Kamada constantly drop deep to pick up the ball to try and make something happen. The Eberechi Eze bias is glowing on this channel, pretty sure his pass completion was worse, he still holds onto the ball for too long and wants to make hero shots... We now have that to a lesser degree in Nketiah.
