- We begin a new series aimed at new Super Pocket owners that are interested in Evercade but are not sure which carts to collect. This is part three checking out Carts 11 to 15 from the red label. The red label is specifically console games only.
In this series we will aim to check through the Evercade carts and highlight any issues/compatibility with the Super Pocket devices. Not every game will suit these handhelds, so hopefully this guide will help you choose which carts are suitable for you!

Xeno and Tanglewood collection looks something might pick up
Definitely one of the best carts on Evercade. Only 2 games but both are top drawer titles.
Thanks for showing off Basketbrawl. At least now I know it's not a problem with my cartridge.
Since I've got the Super Pocket I've mostly been playing Chip's Challenge (and some Football Champ), so that Lynx 2 collection was definitely worth picking up.
No problem thanks for the heads up. That game clearly has issues on the pocket. Lynx 2 is definitely for me the cart to go for over the 1st collection.
With Jimmy Conners tennis, you have to make your way to the box after the computer serves the ball ,wait till it bounces, then swing your racquet. Besides this it's just timing.
Lynx Collection looks like it holds up on the 4:3 screen. Nice
Definitely looks nice, not quite perfect full screen but still very good.
BTW, I've got to World Rally. As someone that has a unique dislike of top down racers i think it's very good. It sort of plays like as a top down distilled Sega Rally. Alligator Hunt was difficult for me as I play all FPS type games using an inverted Y-axis. But it's a hoot, it's what we now call a on-rails shooter and in a similar vein to Sin and Punishment. My favourite rail shooter OAT is Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies on the Wii, if you haven't tried it and like rail shooters then pick up a Wii. I guarantee you'll love it.
Cheers I'll check ot out. World Rally is a huge favourite of mine. Its excellent. Alligator Hunt is great too. No idea what's going on but it's fun.

It's one of the only motion games that makes sense, oh and the story is bonkers, if you can call it a story.
I got the 2 Lynx collections as my first evercade carts with the Taito SP! I am bit worried about graphics looking too tiny with some other carts. Maybe that's not really an issue.
It varies from game to game. Sensible Soccer I feel the graphics are too small for this device.
I got the taito edition yesterday morning, and it has a display issue right out of the box, and the sound just stops working in game after a save. Kinda bummed about it.
That's not normal, take it back and get it replaced.
I love Xeno Crisis and Tanglewood but I just can’t do the floating. How exactly are you using the yellow power? I’ve tried to push the B-button fast (holding it on the second push) it is simply not working. 😢
@@princeelliot2836 you need to hold it to fly. Maybe it's the A button. Will need yo check.
Thank you so much! ❤🎉 It’s B and then holding A! The manual is misleading at this point: It says jumping and then holding B, while it is actually the A button which needs to be hold.
@@princeelliot2836 ah yeah. Something in my head thought it was that. Love that game.
Someone needs to make a nice slim protective case/cover for this thing.
Have played the SNES version of Rival Turf and Brawl Brothers on Switch. I agree that Rival Turf is the better game though the online reviews I have seen seem to disagree. I just found Rival Turf a smoother and more fun experience.
Lol interesting didn't know that. Agree it feels a smoother game.. thusly more enjoyable to play.
@@CrazyBurger Have started playing The Peace Keepers to round out the trilogy. So far I am finding it a bit mixed. Feels like a drag with slower characters, but pretty nice with a faster character.
@@davenipples ah I take it you subscribed to the snes/nes stuff on the switch? I've not looked at that for a while. Thought it was getting ridiculous with the amount of money they kept asking for additional stuff like N64, Mega Drive etc
@@CrazyBurger We are yes, but my kids make use of it too so I feel like it is worth it for us. They are really into the big Nintendo franchises Mario, Zelda, Kirby etc.
