Oh I've definitely been considering it! The whole purpose of this build is to improve my LOS flying, but I'm very tempted to throw in FPV and maybe even an FC for some longer range flying. This thing should have a great flight time!
Ha! Yeah, it doesn't look as close in the video, but I came directly at her! She ducked away, but held that camera really stable! I already owed her for coming out and filming for me. I definitely have some red in ledger after that maneuver 🤣
That would be pretty cool, but I'm thinking they're kinda set in their ways at this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Crash Test Hobby and TBRC both make great EPP wings and planes. They're definitely tougher than the foam board, but probably not as easy to get ahold of the material and the material isn't quite as easy to make so many great planes out of. Everything has its tradeoffs.
@@BoneBear We don't really love building and crashing and rebuilding, I gotta think we are not alone. I would have never learned to fly without that Crash Test Hobby Albatross. I rebuilt that tiny trainer over and over again, and broke a ton of props. The Albatross and prop savers are amazing!

Thanks! That bird doesn't really care about the wind haha. I get a bit less wild with it when it's real windy, but it'll still fly perfectly fine!

Nice build nice flight, we got to figure out where we can buy this kind of foam? Maybe flitetest will start cutting it for us.
