You were my inspiration to play piano since I began. Everyday I listened to your moonlight sonata 3rd movement and wished, I could play that too. So I started playing piano 8 years ago and now im playing the moonlight sonata myself :)
Well ....this is one of my most favorite Sonatas...and this is perfection....Jaw dropping...from a technical standpoint...she's loose, relaxed, she's having fun and putting her 'swing' in the melody...every phrase is a dance....
Love the tempo, love the voicing, love the phrasing, love the dynamics, love the articulation, love the pedaling, love the music! Thank you for this entire Beethoven adventure you're on!
. The Valentina Orchestra with such perfect temperament, style and delicate detail, is so beautiful, soothing and amazing. I love this perfect performance. "Dah ... da dill lit .. da dil lit... dah da " .. will be playing in my head all day !
And to Stella Aram, I started playing piano at 5 yrs old. By 7 I had to do recitals by memory. As I would now be diagnosed with ADHD, the piano gave the focus I needed to learn. Memory was everything, My memory developed by piano playing allowed me to do well in school (except for higher math). Never could nail that one. Anyway, all you need to do is practice & remember, starting out with 3-6 pages then moving on up to 30+. Before I quit playing back in 1971, I had close to 50 piano works in my head & could play at notice, no paper music required.
OMG Valentina how to express my words of deep admiration for the perfection of your playing! As it's difficult, I'll just listen you once and again to enjoy the real Beethoven spirit. Thank you lovely Valentina!!! 😘
What a Lovely Jolly sonata for Spring! 🌼🌼🌼 First movement has a strong Mozart’s influence? Absolutely Masterfully played! 🧡🧡🧡 and Super cute Sandals 🌺🌺🌺
LvB Sonata No. 10 is such splendour in its simplicity. Valentina displays sensitivity, grace and resonates the melody into a perfect magical intonation. The pianist is uplifting and downright listenable.
When I started listening , I thought, oh this is faster than I like. As the first movement progressed, I found myself captivated by the faster tempo and the totally light fresh interpretation. Writing this as the second movement progresses. Thank you, I'm saving this to my best piano playlist.
First movement was too fast for me all the way through, the music was never able to "blossom" for me. Out of all the incredible interpretations by Lisitsa I've had the pleasure to hear (a lot of them) this first movement here was the only one where I never warmed to, or was amazed by, the tempo. She's so great though in so many ways!
@@jkosku I appreciate what you are saying. Over a long period of listening, in my case more than 60 years, one gets set in one's preferences and too different a tempo can put one off. But music is a very subjective experience and I think it's perfectly ok to like some performances and not others. I'm just glad to be able to hear Valentina and I love her dedication and thoughtfulness in whatever she us playing for us.
I love the way your left hand bounces gracefully from the notes in octaves followed by the coards with the right hand. It portrays a fun playful sound for this great sonata. I loved the scherzo too. Thanks Valentina!
Would love it even more if the Beethoven Sonata's series by Valentina Lisitsa would also be available on Spotify at the same audio quality. Pretty please :)
I'd love to hear you play Beethoven Sonata No 16 in G Major, Op 31, No 1. I could see you playing it so spritely and joyfully yet with absolute control
Im a introvert, I love to listen classical music to recharge my energy and refill my soul. sometimes I want to play a piano, but I cant play piano n i dont have it 😭. Im from Indonesia btw
Wow - this is such a joy. It was said by Beetoven's friends that when he premiered this "little" sonata he actually played out of rhythm (of course every composer has to fight and work on interpretation except perhaps for the more silly works.)
Superb Valentina, beautiful rendition of one the most congenial pieces from the composer who wrote the Appassionata, Hammerklavier, Kreutzer, and Grosse Fugue. Looking forward to your Beethoven recital tonight in Monkton Combe!
Love Valentina Lisitsa. She is one of the few aiming for liveness, dance and drive. Great! But please also look at Glenn Gould´s playing of this piece. Man, he is the reference so far! :))
The sonority of Val is amazing... I would take me ages to develop something similar.. (why am I comparing myself to this Titan, when I am nothing but a man)
I played the first movement of this sonata for my final college recital in this May and it went fairly well! Although nowhere near as good as Valentina.
tristram gordon what you said..However I got something else that helps me learn music without any mistakes.I got "musical ear",so to speak, that helps me spot a wrong note immediately when I hear it and as a result I learn the pieces without any trouble. From that point on its grinding till I learn the piece.
Steven Laskin that makes it sound like it’s just a gift and not the result of effort. Never forget great pianist dedicate insanely much time practicing. This is talent combined with HARD work.
I'm really interested in listening to our interpretation of Beethoven piano concertos I liked the interpretation of the Zimmerman but for piano sonatas I prefered yours with love

Leon Ewald. Excellent!
I wish I had your discipline.
Oh Well done!!
Thank you :)
have you cloned the reason I play piano? you sound exactly like me! she is a truly awesome and fearless pianist
@@artsymusician8041 wow! Seems like im not the only one doing that :)
She has more control over the piano than I have over my life 😂❤
Well ....this is one of my most favorite Sonatas...and this is perfection....Jaw dropping...from a technical standpoint...she's loose, relaxed, she's having fun and putting her 'swing' in the melody...every phrase is a dance....
She is witty in playing, enjoying herself. She recreates the blossoming of spring, everywhere flowers sprout. An excellent performance.
Браво! Спасибо, дорогая Валентина! Ваша игра, как лёгкое дыхание, придаёт жизни!
Love the tempo, love the voicing, love the phrasing, love the dynamics, love the articulation, love the pedaling, love the music!
Thank you for this entire Beethoven adventure you're on!
Utter genius
Could listen to her forever 🎉

Beethoven and Valentina are the perfect couple, so compatible and alive.
Finishing my day hearing this sonata. Wonderful interpretation as always. There are no words to describe how perfect she perfoms all the pieces

Incantevole 🍀🍀
Come un angelo 🌷🌷
Grazie Valentina 🏆🏆
I thought the video looked sped up but then realized that this is the first time you posted a video in 60 fps. Fantastic performance!
Beethoven’s ethos sonatas really are a breath of fresh air
This is so brilliant, I love you valentina, you are a beautiful talented wonderful person, Beethoven lives through you .
Un Beethoven para todo el siglo XXI. Insuperable.
Une véritable petite merveille d'interprétation. Sublime.
I'd love to hear you play Beethoven Sonata No 16 in G Major, Op 31, No 1. I could see you playing it so spritely and joyfully yet with absolute control
She did It. Look for It in her "32 sonatas" playlist 😉

Amazing. So soft, beautiful sound. Your playing is like a little charming... Good Valentina💓
Love watching your practice sessions Valentina it would be awesome for you to bring them back

it is impossible ----not to be amazed by such perfection
La musica culta debe ser materia de esencial importancia en los Programas escolares para todos. Recomendacion para Ministerios de Educación y Cultura.
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!👍

I think she really enjoys playing her piano.
I love the third movement!
My buddy asked my who you are Valentina
I said, best pianist on the world :)
Absolutely stunning artistry as always.

Fantastische Belle Valentina !!!

Just... 👌 !
Thank you so much Valentina always wonderful
I played the first movement of this sonata for my final college recital in this May and it went fairly well! Although nowhere near as good as Valentina.
Nothing short of genius 🌿
Lovely. Thanks for recording the complete cycle.
I wanna know how she memorizes all the movements and such...its difficult to remember 30+ pages...
Stella Aram She has a photographic memory.
I do it the hard way, play it till I end up doing it subconsciously...
Practice, over and over again, until you have "muscle memory". Today, people are inherently lazy, "get a machine to do it" attitude.
tristram gordon what you said..However I got something else that helps me learn music without any mistakes.I got "musical ear",so to speak, that helps me spot a wrong note immediately when I hear it and as a result I learn the pieces without any trouble. From that point on its grinding till I learn the piece.

Well played
at the beginning she sorta like, talks to the rhythm of the music and i just think that’s really nice to see. i wonder what she was saying 🤔
It is a real dream of beuty! Thanks Valentina
Beethoven mi piace sempre di più
The Crystal Reflecting Happiness...

Would the person who gave this a thumbs down care to share his or her thoughts on their rationale and reasoning?
Her fingers do their own ballet on the keys

I liked the interpretation of the Zimmerman but for piano sonatas I prefered yours
