Haven't heard about this, it's a very interesting issue. I generally stay away from areas where there are protests going on as it's difficult for deliveries on many levels. But when there was a curfew in DC, I didn't bother going after curfew just because a lot of my main apps suspended deliveries, including GH and Caviar. We're essential, but definitely need to be aware of the market and areas. It's changing day to day.
What was odd to me was that we were under a curfew and yet everything was open. I think the curfew only pertained to parts of the city. But in my town certain restaurants were closing as early as 6pm
Interesting video! This is a very gray situation because so long as a driver has the app switched on, they could say they’re ‘working’ even if they have no intention of doing deliveries.
I’m going to avoid the protest areas tonight for sure . I don’t want to get caught up in that mess
