good musicality in the fouettes!! you mean to say the music used for their swan lake production was entirely played by piano because the orchestra was on strike??
Why didn't they use recorded music? Real Orchestra's can be so difficult. As a singer they made my life hell! They are totally redundant these days. I found this out In Sydney Opera House. In the third ballet I thought 'Gosh the orchestra is paying better than for the first two Ballets' only to look down to find out they'd gone home! it was recorded music and I couldn't tell the difference only the record was better. Never felt the same about orchestra's since.

I am very good at turning I can do 5 on pointe but I can not do that!
