- Hi everyone! I'm bringing yet another one of my personal mixes, in today's video I'll be presenting you my take on the track "I Am A Loser".
The song was originally recorded in 2003, But in this mix I'll be reconstructing the song as if it were made during the "Thriller" album sessions! Please leave any suggestions for future mixes!

Originally recorded shortly after the Triumph tour around September 1981 originally titled "Loser". Michael liked the track put together it sounded good. Quincy Jones himself said it didn't sound right. So, they eventually shelved it. It was picked up again in 2003 when his long time friend and composer Brad Buxer and his wife at the time had a big fight and he had called Michael up one day shouting that he was a loser numerous times, and Michael suggested that they write a song about it. It was eventually worked on again but was never released for another 11 years. On September 1st 2022, Quality Mixes leaked the original audio after 41 years of it being unreleased.

The song fades out at that point and trust me I tried my best to gain stage that part but it didn’t sound good at all being that this acapella I had to use AI to remove the instrumental. I love that part too but unfortunately it had to be cut 💙
@@OfficialARINGE there is an fan edit out there somewhere where the adlibs near the end are more amplified. Overall the song is also less processed and quieter as the more widespread leak had the vocals amplified and more bass.
@@OfficialARINGE I'll need to dig it up but I can send you this particular version if you need with the "delayed" fade, I received it from another fan before the track leaked and this version was once posted with a video compilation on another channel at some point but got taken down. The untampered original remains unleaked. The leak everyone got had vocals and bass amplified.
I played this mix into my AirPods back in March of this year. My god it changed my life. I had a really depressing stage that month and this mix healed it. And my cat recently died. I turned this song on and it made me feel a lot better. Thank you for this 🫡
