    Hi Angelo! It been great to watch your insightful videos here. Can you make a detailed comparison between Trade Republic, Revolut and Interactive Brokers in terms of fees when it comes to buying etfs?

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  6 місяців тому +1

      Happy to hear that! This video should help: ua-cam.com/video/4B05bx3pHT8/v-deo.html
      From what I read, Revolut charges a 0,12% custody fee and most likely you won't be able to transfer your shares to another broker, so it's not a good option long-term in my opinion.

    Hi Angelo, great video as always. Regarding P2P, what are your toughts on Lendermarket, I have been trying to exit as well for several weeks the pending payments keep increasing to the point I almost dont have any active loans. And what about Income? For some time know the platoform doesn't seem to be working that well either. Thank you

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  7 місяців тому

      Thank you Miguel! My thoughts on Lendermarket are that I'm glad I started withdrawing in January, when I noticed they were clearly having liquidity issues. But I'm still upset that they're holding investor money "hostage" via pending payments, I really hope this gets resolved asap.
      As I mentioned in the video Income has been struggling with loan supply lately, I'm guessing you're probably referring to the auto invest not reinvesting, right?

    • @miguel727_OG
      @miguel727_OG 7 місяців тому

      @@AngeloColomboFi Unfortunately I'm one of those with my money hostage, for some time I was able to withdraw every week or so but its been a few weeks (maybe months) since I was able to do it again, on top of that since the money is not invested I am not getting any interest, hopefully they get it sorted and people can get their money back. As for Income, yes, their autoinvest has been failing lately, but also they are no longer showing the interest rate you are making, I asked them about it a few weeks ago and they confirmed having a problems but they still have not fixed it, also the loans are starting to be delayed, not a good feeling on my side, I am at the moment withdrawing the money and moving it to others (Mintos, Esketit, Lande, etc).

    Hi Angelo! Thanks for the video and the information. I am also located in Austria and I have some doubts regarding the taxes. For Trade Republic, do you need to pay taxes for that 4% of return? And how do you pay taxes for the other investments like P2P? I'm new here and I am a bit lost with all these stuff. Thanks for your answer!

    • @raphaelwartanian

      25% tax on savings for Angelo in austria, he has to report this himself (for example via "Formular E1kv")

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes, as Raphael pointed out of course I need to pay taxes (25%) on the 4% interest I earn on TR via my yearly tax return. Trade Republic provides you with a tax report though once per year, which makes that quite easy.
      I also have to file taxes for my earnings from P2P lending - there you have to sum up the earnings from each platform via their yearly reports and enter the total amount in your tax return as well. Sadly I can't give you any more specific tax advice.

    Hi and thanks for the Great info...
    Since crypto rised much more ytd than the traditional markets, do you make any rebalancing to keep the 10% allocation? Thanks.

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  7 місяців тому

      Thank you Dominique!
      Yes, I usually try to rebalance if the allocation changes significantly (eg. jumps from 10 to 25%), since this sector is so volatile.

    Hi Angelo! I used mintos until ~10% of my Portfolio got stuck in Overdue across multiple lenders. It's like this for over two years and I quit mintos because of this. Ever got a sum stuck?

      That's understandable. Yes, my recovery amount has been decreasing over time (at a slow speed though). Ever since the recovery cases (starting during Covid) I've only been focusing on the best-rated lending companies on the marketplace and I know others that have done very well by following that strategy from the beginning.
      Some of what I would consider to be among the best lending companies (Eleving, Delfingroup, Iute) are only available here and I do believe that Mintos improved and learned from their mistakes.

    Angelo do you and your wife have separate ETFs? I’m wondering whether my wife and I should create separate ones for tax reasons as well as ease should we god forbid split up!
    And you got back me back into crypto and despite being mostly in BTC and ETH too my small investment in SOL is up 80% 😵

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  7 місяців тому

      We have separate brokerage accounts so yes, but that's because in Austria we're each taxed individually. Yeah, happy to see my small remaining Solana bag grow a bit again as well, after dropping all the way from 230€ or so 😅

    I still wonder how you guys can resist on buying stocks. I have a big ETF depot aswell, but I had to buy the dropped stocks like BASF, Vonovia etc. up to 8% dividend with a huge turnaround chance. How can you resist those gambling things?

    • @torma99
      @torma99 7 місяців тому +1

      Why gamble if you have a big enough portfolio already? If you have the same packet in ETFs like Angelo, and maybe some more in real estate (flat, house, apartman, summer house) there is for many not really a point to do it. Just invest the way you did. No stress, but smaller returns.

      Nothing wrong with picking some individual stocks if that's your jam, I prefer sticking to ETFs. The 10% of my portfolio I use for "gambling" is already allocated to bitcoin & ethereum (my personal casino 😅)

    “Don’t invest money you can’t afford to loose” is not an investment! And is valid for an asset like bitcoin ( is more a bet) and others particular asset. This is not valid like you know for the right ETF, totally different approach, otherwise how we can accumulate or speak of investement👌🏻…

    • @AngeloColomboFi
      @AngeloColomboFi  7 місяців тому

      True, I'd never say that if I was talking about ETFs, but with crypto I feel it's necessary to mention that. I treat it as a bet I can afford with 10% of my portfolio, but I don't want anyone to go all-in and potentially lose a lot of money simply because they see it has gone up quickly in a given year
