For whatever reason mine no longer connects with WiFi on any device so it’s lost a lot of its value. When it was working it was easy to control the camera and transfer videos.
if i'm not mistaken, its kinda 'law' to limit 20 mins video recording to be considered as a camera. if a device can record more than 20 minutes it will be classified as video camcorder. I've heard this somewhere when watching a camera review.. :) please do CMIIW
hi it's me again one more quick did you ever put this on the roof of your car did you have any problems with it with the mic microphone the reason I ask because somebody told me on UA-cam you can damage your microphone with the wind vibration did you ever try that put on the top of your car and drive around with it
Did you use an SDHC or an SDXC card? I know that the SDHC cannot store files as big as its size, it is restricted at around 20min each file. However SDXC cards can store as big as their capacity. So, take it into consideration. Nice video by the way!
Hello! ok yesterday i went to buffalo ny my cousin got the lg 360 camera for me so he tested on his smartphone and he download the App for lg 360 cam and it was working but when i got home to install the app from googleplay store so i follow your tutorial lg360 how to setitup from the app and the and it searching for my wifi signal the yellow wheel is turning and can not find it it says connection unavailable cannot connect to 360 cam try again if this reoccurs, restart 360 cam Please why this happening help me what to do??
mine was doing the same, click the top right icon of the magnifying glass over the rectangle (phone), select your device, go back to your wifi connection, select your device again, then go back to the app... made a vid on my other channel if you want a visual to follow channel is tp cr...
I agree I have tried it both ways you definitely want to shoot in 2k if your using a vr head set to view you will notice the difference big time also if you want to know a neat trick go to the samsung galaxy app store and download gear 360 manager on your device (s7) then use a file manager like es file explorer to find your 360 videos from the camera it should be in dcim/accessorycam once you see a video you want to view long press it then share it to the gear 360 manager then itll give you the option to view on gear vr so its pretty sweet itll also allow you to edit the clip a little as well i plan to make my own video about it but id figure id share it with you because you gave me helpful advice before about scripting and it has helped big time so thanks for that and good luck
The 20 min limit is for a single file. I.E It can only create a maximum video of 20 mins for a single file..It's not the capacity problem....It creates a single file of 20 mins max
I had the same problem I bought it,tried to connect it at the store but it did NOT CONNECT to my Samsung phone...tried for an hour but still was of no use...then I returned it and got my money back..coz it was useless if it did not connect to my phn...!!!
I really wish you could do updates directly to the camera from the phone. Lg Bridge software is garbage. I can't update my cam at all. The software keeps telling me "cannot verify software version". Complete junk. Even LG themselves are extremely unhelpful.

the 20 minutes segment recording is a camera restriction, not related to the Micro SD card size
