@@alihartman From a safety point of view, your "habits" are good for this particular drone. If able, it's good to take off or land visually, stabilized, and do control checks before proceeding in manual mode. But yeah, when you go to fly other quads, you will have to just blast away or land like in the sim.
Damn it Is soooo easy to start fpv this days :D Feel sorry for my self that I started Fpv like 8 years ago when there was sooooo much to learn before even you get to air. Cheers! It is so much fun to watch how that hobby evolve
I just got the NEO and now i want to learn FPV because it does look really cool. I've been only flying drones for about a couple monyhs but it's soo much fun. Iceland has some amazing land to fly. Eager to see more footage.
FPV Is such a rush! I'm a pro drift/stunt driver and into skiing the adrenaline Is on par. Also takes you to wild places you'd never be in unless doing such activities!
I'm doing the same thing, but not using DJI for FPV - using walksnail instead. Liftoff and Velocidrone are much better for practice. Check out Bardwell too of course.
Someone on Reddit told me that they allow drones in Iceland. Looks like that person was telling me the truth since you were in Iceland flying your drone! I'll plan next year to visit Iceland. I want to dive the mountains there. Great video Ali!
Maybe you should have purchased the fly more combo a single battery is never enough on these FPVs… Plus they got this really nice tech going on the 3 battery charger that can transfer battery from the fully charged ones to the one you’re using on the go!
The only downside with the avata 2 is that it lacks real power of an FPV drone. So its disappointing to be honest. But still a good foundation for learning FPV pilots.
it is more profitable and better to start with a much cheaper drone, for example, with the Cinelog 20. I studied fpv on it, after 10 years on stable copters. I dropped it 20 times and sold it to the workers.
Dji virtual flight is just fine to learn on but if you want the full experience you need a bnf fpv drone for learning trust me it will save you a ton of money .
FPV is so freeing. Now to get yourself a 65mm "tinywhoop", so you can practice indoors. They are SOOOOO much fun! And a lot less money then a 5 inch. And they don't break when you crash them. Try Velocidrone for a SIM instead of Liftoff. Way better physics and feel. Use slow rates to, around 400-450 on all axis. It will make the quad less "twitchy".
watched this whole video yet waited till now to comment glad more people are going to feel this out of body gift of flight tho you are going to want to get a 5 inch or 7 inch since the avata lacks power n your going to wanna build it yourself ass you are going to be crashing so knowing the system is key also watch chriss rossers perfect yaw spin vid as having my roll and the yaw feel exactly the same requires math cause of the uptilt anyways great flying
Don’t freestyle that drone!!! Get an actual freestyle drone. Are quads are made to break and repare cheap. DJI drones aren’t. Get dji care cause you’re gonna break it.
Take off horizontal stability control. You’re learning bad habits. Practice on sim in full acro 😊
This
Will give that a try 😅
Amen..made the same mistake..

GL and welcome to the community 🤙🏽
quite the location for your first fpv flight! Nice work
It was pretty nerve racking 😅 but totally epic!
Literally forgot to mention the simulator I used on the computer which is uncrashed! So good to practice maneuvers and targets!

Practice, Practice, Ali. This is a great video, and I am looking forward to more great content!
Thank you so much! It’s a total learning curve, but I’m loving it
@@alihartman That's all that counts. It's not for everyone! Us drone pilots are different!
Excellent flight, Ali. I'm subbing. Greetings from a fellow flyer, from Montreal, Canada.
Appreciate the support, fellow flyer!
lets get it, cant believe more girls havent picked up fpv yet, it's the ultimate form of flying
I knoww it’s addictive and so incredible!
Welcome to the crazy world of fpv! Beautiful place to fly, nice flying, can't wait to see more epic locations. 🥰😁🤙
It really is addicting! Thanks for watching!
Someone on Reddit told me that they allow drones in Iceland. Looks like that person was telling me the truth since you were in Iceland flying your drone! I'll plan next year to visit Iceland. I want to dive the mountains there. Great video Ali!
If you want to fly in cold weather, there is rc transmitter glove, where fits the radio and your hands. Nice video. Good job
Oh I need that! Definitely lots of insane extremely cold places and missing the shot is just not an option
omg Iceland looks so beautiful!! Hope you enjoy the world of FPV, it's so magical 💞💓💞
Iceland really was magical! 😍
Yep, fpv rocks! Enjoy ✌️
No distraction from your great video - But that geology is bloody awesome!
I know! Isn’t Iceland insane!??
YT just showed me ur channel, and I loved it. There is an allure to watching a beginner get into a hobby which is SO fun!
hey thank you! Hope you stick around for the journey!
I actually start with DJI Neo and will stick with Neo for a while 😅 I crashed it 25-30 times already…

Awesome.
Great video and well done - new subscriber
honestly for a new channel, you're rocking, videos are very well made.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy them!
Its called having money to start with.
That is amazing footage
Great video, keep it up and have fun unleashing the possibilities with fpv!
Thanks! That's the plan!
Hahaha you hold your head like my brother when he fly’s FPV. Good content ❤
Great job! I’m jealous of how easy it is to start these days…
Keep pushing for 100% acro mode!
yes, great job keep going
If you got any questions when you build let me know. Cheers!

What else did you film while you were in Iceland?
Stick around and find out 🤫
Just found the channel and subs really good video.
Thanks man!
How do you edit your videos new subscriber here thanks for what you do to inspire
Cool video man!!! Great job Ali!!! Love the shots in Iceland! Glad u found the gopro man! That was soooo random how u found it! LOL
Thank youu! Literally took 40 mins to find it 😅
Welcome to the world of FPV, I've seen go-pros on the avatas burn the motors, it does not account for the extra weight
really cool
Wow. Take me to Iceland plz 😢 I'm too broke to go
well done !
great video!!! good luck and welcome to the coolest hobby ever!!! subscribed btw
Appreciate the support!
Awesome!
Quality content! Subscribed!
Thank you!

What camera are you using to film at 5:20 and at 6:10?
Fpv is the way to go if you want to push your limit.
it's indeed addictive :)
Nice one 🙌
Fpv is fun.

Lets go!
So fun!
good job ali hartman
Simulator name?
uncrashed fpv! so good

I’ll definitely check that out and try it!
Switch to fixed wing planes(aerobatics), there's more excitement to it
Go Tinywhoop!
And guerilla whoop.. with post interviews with randos
This. Or any self-build will be a good next step.
I'm going to learn from you
not fpv girl.... get a tiny whoop then a bigger one ,say a 3 inch learn on sim ,learn to build, then its fpv.. but you are awsome tho...

Nice
After i see the dji avata i was done with the video😅
That's awesome. Exceptional shots in Iceland ❤😊
Welcome to the dark side
🥽🎮🚁🐨🖖🏼
Pretty McKinnon 🤣
Imo DJI virtual flight does not even feel close to real. The physics are terrible. Orqa FPV is better but still not great.
Yea it doesn’t.. I like uncrashed, it’s the one on the computer clips!

ali i was wondering if like i could possibly get ur snap
