Hi , almost 6 weeks postpartum, i ended up having a hysterectomy at 28 years old , but thankfully i have 3 babys ❤i had complete placenta previa , then at the OR they found out i had placenta accreta lost 3.1 litters of blood. Thankful for my doctor im here today still with my kids.
Very informative just found out today that they’re suspicious of this for me and I have to get an MRI next week thankful to have this video to understand what they are looking for and possible risks and treatment!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
My placenta had grown into my uterus (Accreta). They did a D&C and removed it. I have no intentions of having more biological children but didn't have a hysterectomy either. 🤔
I had a placenta accreta and fortunately I was able to keep my uterus and the way it was resolved was that i was sent home and a visiting nurse came to see me everyday to check up on me and one day i was having a lot of abdominal cramp went to sit on the toilet and this big piece of stuff came out and it was the piece of placenta left in my uterus. My body took care of it on its own.
This is by far the most disturbing lecture ever.. not because the lecturer was incompetent in any way, but because she was too spot on... the analogy of ripping off the fake nail had me from the beginning... now I feel sick thinking that someone would yank on the umbilical cord to pull the placenta out.......... WHO DOES THAT

I love how you use imagery to explain. (nail bed in this video, also cell phone cover in another)... but this nail bed thing gave me the shivers. lol

Placenta accreta for mee now 6th month is going on
Could two continuous cesareans lead to a third accreta birth?
it is just one of the risk factors so it doesnt mean it has to occur...
+Evelina Missingo Thanks..
Too shallow discussion. Expected a little more in depth discussion
I thank for lay people/non-medical, that's very well explained!
