- We hope these feuding neighbors will give peace a chance in 2021. One of the strangest neighbor feuds ended in a California courtroom with a judge ordering one party to stop blasting the theme song to “Gilligan’s Island” for hours at a time. Two Florida men have been fighting over a property line for years, but the fight escalated when one man chased the other with his tractor. Yeah growing up we had a neighbor call child protective services on my parents because me and my little brother were playing in our yard without shoes on in the summertime. Then they called the animal control because we were feeding a stray cat that lived in our backyard, and built it a little outdoor cat house with a heating pad in it. This was after we trapped it and brought it to the clinic for all its shots, dewormer, had it spayed, and groomed to get rid of all its matted fur. They said we were abusing it because it was always outside, even though it refused to come inside our house.

I’m so glad I always got along well with all the neighbors everywhere I’ve lived. I guess just once I kinda had a neighbor that I didn’t get along so well because I felt he was kinda rude. He was an old man always with a grumpy face and he would always ignore me when I tried being polite to him. Ends up I’ve found out he was just lonely and I eventually connected with him. The other neighbors on that building were so shocked to see that grumpy old man started smiling and talking and being nice to people. All he needed was some kindness and patience. Sadly he passed away of COVID right in the beginning of the pandemic. I hope he is a good place now!

When I was in Tokyo, I saw kids younger than her walking to school in groups and by themselves, and taking the trains alone too. The guy said "giant patch of land with no houses nearby". This implies he'd actually own the land. This implies no neighbors as far as the eye can see. Nobody would be able to build anything close enough to mess with his view.

It is in most states. Calling in fake police reports is a crime. Sometimes D.A. won't process because they have overload . And its a low charge.

I don't believe for one moment it was a malicious call. The neighbor was probably horrified seeing an 8 yr. old child by herself considering the excess of sickening stories we've all been hearing about children being kidnapped and traffiked. Even dads shopping with their children have been stalked by these obsessive kidnappers. I completely understand the mothers sentiments, but with the way things have been progressing over the years, I wouldn't let my child out of my sight at that age.

i think its more of the color of the house. Painting your house a color that is not typical can actually bring the value of the neighboring houses down. Now yes they can build wherever they want, but lavender s ugly on the outside of a house

I have this neighbor who put these fake police tickets on my cars saying I’m not allowed to park them on my driveway way and that I have to many cars when I only have 4 cars and the maximum your allowed to have is 6 and when I called the police on him for trespassing and harassing us he said I was harassing him and that I was trying to sleep with him which obviously not true bc I’m married and the whole neighborhood knows how annoying he is
No one has ever made me feel uncomfortable as of yet. That is good for them.
Life is way too short for all that drama.
This is exactly why I live 20 min from city on 2 acres of land in a cabin style house in heavily wooded ridge.
