Very underrated channel and I'm not sure why.
Personally I find it informative and well presented.
    Good luck.

You should emphasize the type of shoes worn. I can't do this due to physical disabilities that allow me to play Heel Down only which I always did before the spinal ailments. I'm 69, a recreational drummer , lower intermediate player, who plays to My Music. I'll try to give this a whirl. Thx for your good info.

Drum Dog, how high do you keep your Throne to be able to use this motion. I find this hard for me... I need to wear different more slippery shoes !!! THX for your very good video. The Suoer Slo-MO helps a lot

I'vee seen this technique played mostly into the head but you're playing off the head at slower tempos which what I'm working on. It's very hard to play this way off the head when fast... at least for me.

The last one is the groove from Bleed by Meshuggah before it grew up.

i also practice without spring, its technique like "hell off",not heel up to much, its up about 2 inch up ,also i use slide technique , but every technique sounds different ,i love them all,but every technique needs time....i love the economics of movement its intelegence!

As always a great lesson but needed printable PDF of music notation. At least I need it.
