For me, this foundation is bulletproof. It wears absolute best for me with no primer, no setting spray, like doesn’t need anything to wear all day. It even stayed after wearing a mask and then an afternoon of mountain biking in hot humid weather. I even took a shower but didn’t wash my face and my makeup was flawless still. I didn’t like it with primer on my normal to combo skin.

omg i bought this and tried it with a beauty blender (brushes never work for my foundations application- ever)and wasnt impressed. I havent tried it again since. The moment you said the coverage and finish are better with a brush I ran into my washroom and tried it and im obsessed!!!! it looks COMPLETELY different. I felt it was light coverage matte-leaning when I initially tried it. Now it looks borderline dewy and a true medium coverage. THANK YOU.
Just recently got this in 010 cool and it’s the most perfect shade match and most beautiful finish on my finicky skin I’ve ever found! (I’m combination w/ oily t-zone and I don’t even need to powder it!) Love, love, love!! 🥰💙

@@winnies2393 I don’t know if you’ve used these but I can wear Fair 10N in Colourpops Pretty Fresh Foundation, shade F1 in Revolutions Conceal & Hydrate, and the 101 in the classic CYO. (I usually grab the lightest in any line except ones like covergirl cause they’re Always too dark and orange) Hope that helps! 💙

I’m almost always the lightest shade in foundations but now that brands are being more inclusive on the very fair end of the spectrum, there’s been a few where the lightest is a bit too light. I agree about covergirl though. They just can’t seem to come out with something that doesn’t read 2006 fake spray tan on me.
Ok, I went to my local drugstore and bought this foundation, and its better than any other drugstore and high end foundation that i own. Im gonna buy more shades since is so cheap
@@live4beauty1 Yes, I made Chef John's Horchata with more almonds(1/3cup) and less sugar(1/2cup) and whisked in matcha powder for each glass. Some people add evaporated milk and/or sweetened condensed milk to their horchata, but I wanted it not so calorie dense and lactose free. It's a refreshing summer delight and fun to say, Matcha Horchata!!!

I want something medium coverage that still looks natural on the skin and can look good in all types of situations. I finally picked up this foundation, I was hoping to love it as much as you do but was scared cause I usually don't like Essence base products but I was really impressed! I'm pretty oily and this works surprisingly great for my skin type; I also thought it's pretty smooth-looking and blurs pores. It made me laugh that I'm a shade 030, always thought you were so much lighter that me but guess not LOL. Love, I hope you still get notifications for old-ass video comments, I'm super late to the game.

My mom was adopted so heritage and genealogy has always been a big interest in our family :) people always ask where my family is from to the point it's become a game to see the random guesses people have lol Most recently a census worker asked if I was Lebanese... My grandpa has olive skin, black hair, and blue eyes so it's always fun to get people's thoughts.

Found this foundation a few months ago and it really is the best, so hard to find in Canada but seriously beats high end foundations for me as someone with textured and acne prone skin.
I genuinely thought you'd pick up the shade 020 Neutral Alabaster (I'm as pale as you are, just more yellow, and I wear 030 Neutral Ivory) 😉 And yes this foundation is amazing on my oily skin : shines peeks through but nothing fades, separates, cakes or becomes splotchy (I even prefer this one over Estée Lauder Double Wear or Urban Decay Stay Naked) 😍 Wonderful review as usual 🥰
I’m always concerned about shade matching, so I took your advice and picked this up in shade 040 Neutral Vanilla, which is a really good match for me. I’m also applying it with a brush (I normally use a sponge) and I love the way it looks! Taylor + foundation reccs never let me down! :)

Even though it’s drugstore, I wouldn’t say it’s good enough to use your money on. A better option might be the L’Oréal Paradise one

I’m always concerned about shade matching, so I took your advice and picked this up in shade 040 Neutral Vanilla, which is a really good match for me. I’m also applying it with a brush (I normally use a sponge) and I love the way it looks! Taylor + foundation reccs never let me down! :)
