Jeff Burton Calls Out NASCAR for 'Crazy' Decision on Kyle Busch | Bubba Wallace Talks Aric Almirola

- The NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville set a chaotic record with five overtimes on Sunday. On the first restart, Kyle Busch was involved in an incident and when officials put the two-time champion close to the front on the restart, Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte didn't sugarcoat what they thought about the decision.
Earlier in the race, Denny Hamlin didn't like how Kyle Larson raced him, and the frustrated Joe Gibbs Racing driver had to be calmed down by his crew chief. The No. 11 pilot addressed the situation after the race.
Also in this video, Bubba Wallace addressed his physical altercation with Aric Almirola earlier this year and multiple drivers offer up grades on their first halves of the 2024 campaign.

Have to agree. There is something really fishy going on with the Toyotas. No matter the driver, their cars always seem to outpull Fords and Chevy's down the straightaways.

I'll never forget Bubba pushing kyle larson all aver the place trying to start a fight with a guy half his size. we saw what he really is, a bully! He didn't push Aric Almirola back, wonder why?

Yes, this happened before this year's Charlotte race. Coincidentally, they also had a conflict in last year's race.

Gave NBC kudos but didn't mention the part about them switching over to cable and denying people the end of the race. They replayed the race on the rain delay also, that was totally low-rent. I was disappointed
There was once a time when Nascar was very entertaining with the teams and driver interviews during rain delays. They don't even try anymore.
I thought the race was ok, but it always gets on my nerves when they switch networks for the "remainder of the race", only because when my Grandparents were alive they loved NASCAR but didn't have cable/satellite and always would miss out on those to parts.
I dumped satellite service because I needed too many channels that always had some dispute going with Dish network. Sent the dish back after they caused me to miss the Datona 500 and superbowl because of disputes and their constant channel switches.
that's why I consider nascar as a joke anymore, they make up things as they go

NBC Sports coverage and commentary has been awful! Plus two weeks ago USA broadcast was running long and end of race switched to a channel I never heard of, USA plus (?). So no watching end of race. NBC needs to do better…..
Bush had to restart where he was when the caution came out.

The field is frozen when the caution comes out unless you can’t keep going or leave the track, I believe.
The first time Elliot spun out ,he went back up to his spot under caution and Nascar gave it to him and NO one .Not Letarte ( Hendricks in house announcer) nor Burton said anything about it. When Busch took his spot,they both ran their mouths about it. Maybe they can answer why next week.

@@dennissciameElliot was the reason for the caution. He shouldn’t have been rewarded for causing the caution. Busch had to slow down or cause a bigger wreck.

I agree, and I HATE that! Why does @NASCAR partner with these shitty networks that nobody watches, and that you have to buy a $75 per month bundle package to even get??
Come on, #NASCAR every race should be available to stream without cable, or bundling services like Hulu, etc. I am willing to pay for a streaming deal like Peacock, because it is less than $20. Which is the MOST I will pay to watch NASCAR races. Fan for over 50 years, but I live rural, no cable, so I don't get to see many of the races these days. They keep making it harder on the working man to afford even watching, much less going to the races..

Larson is a wrecking ball, and has been getting away with driving over his head for a long time. He's a great driver, but he always seems to get a pass.

I didn't get to see the 5 gwc finishes because NBC dumped it for Olympic trials. Fox would finish the race, NBC dumps it. Never liked NBC half of the year. No kudos for NBC. Wallace is toxic. Every year it's something with him and it has nothing to do with racing.
I do not like overtimes. And especially so many which negate all the rest of the race. I would rather watch a 10 lap sprint than a few hours of meaningless race which comes down to a 2 lap sprint. The only thing worsse is when a championship comes down to 2 laps and the season does not matter. When it comes down to a green white checkerd, I turn the race off. I do not even want to watch it. Of course I will not watch the final race any more either. It is not like when the championship meant something. I loved the Chastain Hamlin battle until it was made meaningless. Why race so hard when it does not matter? Is it supposed to ne entertainment now with the drivers performers and the winner does not matter> I am not sure what NASCAR wants when they replaced racing by a show. Indy Car, F1, and IMSA still have race and qualifying that are interesting and that pass mid race actually matters. I quit going to races in 2021 when they ended the weekend experience. I am watching less races now if anything else is on. I was watching the Highlightsd reels for those races. But that is all accidents and not about the race. I guess I just enjoy racing and the experience more than shows. Moving Kyle back up made a better show than him in the back. I think some announcers need to take is as entertainment like WWE and not get so serious about it. This is the show for the youth and it may be great for them. Which is quite fine with me as I like racing and there is still some around.

Burton and Letarte are the worst announcers. All they do is complain. They were unbearable last week whining about the rain and the whatifs. They suck.
Yes Burton should have kept his mouth shut about certain things I certainly didn't like some of the things he had to say it wasn't all just about Kyle Busch it was something about someone else too and not the same time frame I was thinking damn I can't believe you just said that
@mattsams9325 Letarte and Burton both act like they know better than NASCAR about every little thing...and maybe they do. But your job is to announce a race not play hypothetical sanctioning body member. And that's not to say NASCAR is blameless either.
