We are halfway through replacing two windows and met our match with this gasket! We gave in and decided to go to UA-cam for help! Thanks so much for your video! Now... wonder if we have a metal coat hanger somewhere??!
Hey another good video mate. I have just bought a bunch of window rubbers for my BJ42 and now I have a bit of an idea on how to go about it. Thanks for sharing!
I don't think a crochet hook would work. I bought several flat plastic tools, which show up in the "Struggling with windows" video. It worked, but was very slow.
Nice video. I'll start the process of replacing the seals. Can you share where did you buy your seals? I can only find the two piece ones (rubber and key separate)
I bought Trim-Lok LK1522-25 seals on Amazon. These are the one-piece version. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NL48LXA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

@@mikerestoresanfj4069 thanks for the reply Mike. A couple more questions if you don’t mind. Did you do the corner windows with the TrimLok? & (I know it’s only been a few months, but) how has it been holding up since you installed the windows? Thanks in advance.

The first window (in the "struggling" video) took about 3 hours. The last window, the windshield, took about 30 minutes.

Always heard that the joint in the rubber should be at the top.
There's a wide joint for the glass and a narrow joint for the metal. If you're talking about the lock, that's right in the middle.
