That was probably the worst way you could have possibly answered that question. You are admitting that the restraining order is only to be retaliatory... EDIT: How did the defense not bring this up in closing?
You know that ppl will use the courts to stalk and harass their victims, right? It's called vexatious litigation and it's used to find out where victims live, new phone numbers, make them fear for their jobs, kids, and run the victim out of resources. Blaming the victim is gross.
Judge : "hey Depity, did this guy have a Grand Mal Seizure lately?" Hoosegow Depity : "Who? You mean Malingering Marvin? He tried to fake one, but we took him to the hospital and they said he was faking it." Judge : "Never mind."
And when she was asked why she decided to file the restraining order after so much time, she replied that it was intended to stop them from suing her and evicting her and slandering her. She blatantly admitted that this is entirely retaliatory.

Ms. Integrity Farms is insane and pulled the old harassment game when he started the legal eviction process. I hope she wasn't trading "favors" for her attorney's fees, because his lawyer'n skills were as bad as his suit!
So, this lady's a Caretaker, a personal assistant. A money manager, a property manager A lawyer.a driver and she takes care of an adult child who she believes has the brain capacity of a 5-year-old. And she also steps in and acts like a wife when needed.😂😂

Did she not pay rent? She moved, no one ever hurt her, she hasn’t seen or talked to this man in a couple of years and she wants a protection order. 😳There is something going on that they aren’t telling us about.
Why are they wanting reimbursement for 'repairs' if they are trying to buy the farm? If they feel threatened, why did they stay there? If they are starting a nonprofit, shouldn't they have found their own place? It sounds like they wanted everything given to them. Blame everyone for their failures.
Great video Mike, you were right. I suspected. They were so full of BS. She lied and cond him from the git. There was no contract of 5 years with option to buy. I'm not sure there was a lease to begin with. There wasn't any documentation shown and they were very evasive about their non-profit & if it's true and I don't believe, it took them a year and after 4 years they only had two farm gatherings lol 😮.. the Judge obviously made the right decision.
That protection order case was an absolute mess. That Plaintiff's lawyer is horrible. All those random narratives with almost no dates or any proof beyond "I swear I was there and heard someone tell me a thing" or "Well we got a message from a number that we can't tell who owned". The defense should have been objecting left and right to the mindless narrative testimony.
In the Civil harassment case at the end as a Layman here I don't believe they made a reasonable case for such an order in 2023. Everything took place in 2020 and "Jeffery" could barely remember his name. Based on evidence in the court I agreed with the judges verdict. Would have liked to have seen the Nanny/Power of Attorney for the defendant.
It was forged. He never gave her a 5 year with lease to buy. He let her stay there maybe, for a short time and she tried to forge her way into taking it from him.
Unless it was a lease with option to buy. In that case, I believe a portion of the lease payments are put towards the down payment. I think those payments are put into something like escrow until the end of the lease. If the tenant moves the money belongs to the lessor. Not sure about all this, just trying to remember back years ago when I had a lease with an option to buy. I may be totally wrong lol.

I can't with this woman and this lawyer.
Even if she signed a lease with the defendant, the fact that she made that contract with someone who is mentally handicapped surely voids it, right? Right?
It's weird. I applied for a restraining order once, and it went something like this: "On date, name punched me in the stomach and slammed me headfirst into a wall multiple times. Here is the police report, the hospital report, and photos. He's been prosecuted and I don't want him calling me anymore." Done, and done. None of this vague BS,
The jail i was in wouldnt help you out if you had a seizure or anything else. My BP dropped to 52/35 (they checked it) and they sat me in the library until it was back to normal. Mr. Hopkins may have been lying but the jail is NOT who needs to make that determination. His life could be at risk and denying him a diagnosis is BS
Or it's possible he was checked by medical staff, and they cleared him because he wasn't having seizures. Also when the judge came back from making that phone call, he blurted out it happened the last time he was inside.
My husband gave a deposition after being diagnosed with dementia. I would have loved to have been a fly n the wall as they tried to understand his muddled answers. Fortunately our sainted son-in-law was present as his lawyer so they couldn’t badger him. He knew absolutely nothing about the case anyway.
