The Monty's million pound bridge

The new canal bridge on the Montgomery Canal (Br 86) had its pre-fabricated arches dropped into place on 8 August 2023. The contract, started in April 2023, is costing a million pounds which has been raised by public donations to the Restore the Montgomery Canal appeal.
