- The Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) is an IP routing redundancy protocol designed to allow for transparent failover at the first-hop IP router. HSRP provides high network availability, because it routes IP traffic from hosts on networks without relying on the availability of any single router.

What is the command for decrement priority value if destinations port was down state that's time for path change?
If the primary router fails, the protocol will automatically connect to the router assigned the next-highest priority.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Config)#Int Gig 0/0
(Config)#Standby 1 priority 120.
Illustration for above configuration:
(Config)#Standby ___ (any group number) | priority ____ (Value that you need to assign).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
But i think to change path, you need to increase the next priority level for that path.
