Who else loves to sketches cars, and realized you werent as good as you thought you were once you first saw Chip Foose draw on Rides Speedbird Episode.. but learned a ton from him and have been obsessed with drawing cars ?
Every time I watch you work I come away amazed & astounded by all that depth and curves on a flat piece of paper !! Not to mention the vision that you have in your mind coming to life as we watch … please keep them coming !!

A genus makes the nearly impossible look SO easy. We all have our own talents, but some people are so beyond the curve that one wonders where did these people actually come from? Chip is in that group of ultra-gifted people that inspire us all. Thanks Dude!!!
Very nice, I hope it becomes a build project. I have a four door car, Humber Hawk Series II that I would like to make a two door because there was never a factory option
Such a gift! Knowing when to stop yet knowing when to add takes foresight but ya can't get there without a creative mind & talent! Oh how I'd love a project to be given some creative direction by Chip. While I can't get my head out of the days of the 80's you bring those days mixed with the modern era yet still capturing the vintage style. It's not an easy task to do all that yet also still incorporate the essence of true Hot Rodding! If only my '34 Chev Delivery could carry all those traits. (I already have the wheels I bought when I travelled to the States a few years ago, the only 2 x V Rod Harley headlights I bought spares at the time in Australia (So I'll form some custom buckets for them & the basic driveline I have) It's the overall concept that I seem to be missing, though Chip you have always been an inspiration, I'm sure I can get what's in my head to finally build my dream car. Thanks for the inspiration !!
Incredible what a true artisan can accomplish with a French curve and a Bic biro! Genius Totally true - your name popped into my head about five hours ago - spooky! Do you ever sell any of your designs?
What would have bee hilarious is if you had first presented him with a rendering that reflected having made it appear as an oversized Beetle. Semaphores, wadded-up cloth sunroof, turn the hood down so it looks like someone sticking their tongue out, etc.
Those are very common Drafting tools! As are the French curves he uses. I have a collection of them. If your son can take a Drafting class in HS he should! I'm a Mechanical Engineer (now retired) and I've done ink on Vellum. AND I have my own Drafting board at home! 😁
Thank you, Wes, for instigating the application of one genius’ skills to another genius’ (actually geniuses’) masterpiece! EXQUISITE - should be in dictionary beside word “elegance”
Chip can draw his you know what off I like that last wheel that would look good on my Element how many people you know that can draw with an ink pen and don’t mess up .
A car that was ahead of its time and, due to several defects, died before it could take off. It was the first car to be tested in a wind tunnel, the first unibody, and the first to use a 50/50 weight distribution for better ride quality and handling. Customers found the appearance too futuristic, which really was a set back to car design. Looking back now, it was the start of the art deco design in the automotive years.
why 2 door chip i was kinda woundering is this customized basicaly cause this cars are ugly 1930 mob days hitler like volkswagen beattle crap but they fun to watch germal cars hitler used to ride that natzi days

4 doors into 2 doors is always a beautiful make. Chip uses a 2 cent pen to create a priceless masterpiece. His work is a one of a kind.
So glad you left Boyd
Glad he went to bodys, and learned it was better to work for himself..
I bet his work Boyd got his name out
Absolute stunning improvement. So relaxing to watch the rendering come to life, therapeutic. Thank you for sharing your talent with us Mr. Foose
I could watch you draw all day!

My too

He's an all-around great guy
Chips line quality is top notch..
Wish I had his hand control
First he draws it. Then he makes it come to life.👍🏽😊❤️
The cheapie bic pen was surprising. Love your artwork Chip !
They might be cheap, but their great pens.
It is funny he uses such a cheap pen to do the line drawings. The chartpak markers he adds the color with on the other hand. Not so cheap.
I love drawing with Biros
this guy is crazy wow that was such a beautiful car does chrom trim color nice wheels wow awsome job chip foose u are the best
A great artist
Man, Chip, I hope Wes goes for it. Your rendering is exquisite, and I marvel at watching your artistry in real tiime, thanks!
What a talent you’ve got for drawing. Love watching you come up with something unique sir👍👍👍great job.
Such a great stylist/artist. Also one of the most unique signatures I've ever seen.
Very nice, I hope it becomes a build project.
I have a four door car, Humber Hawk Series II that I would like to make a two door because there was never a factory option
One fine looking automobile
Why the re-upload? I'd like to see front and rear three-quarter renderings as well in this style.

Art in metal
Hi Mr. Foose. Any chance we could get a "Chip Sketches" using a Citroen 2CV? Jay Leno might have one for reference purposes :)
Incredible what a true artisan can accomplish with a French curve and a Bic biro! Genius
Totally true - your name popped into my head about five hours ago - spooky! Do you ever sell any of your designs?
His haircut costs more than my car.
Love your talent. Would love for you to design a car for me.but I do not have the money or the car. Lol
Proof of concept ❤ it.😮
Wow!... looks realistic!
Incredible! Just... Wow.

👍👍
Could you tell me where I can buy those green templates?
My 15 year old son loves to draw and they look very useful.
Thanks for the upload!

Thanks Man,
I didn't even think of drafting classes.
That would be right up his alley.
I will mention it to him tonight.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍...@@PhilG999
Great stuff! There should just be a whole separate channel called "Chip Sketches" filled with videos of this artist at work. The Bob Ross of car art.
Thank you, Wes, for instigating the application of one genius’ skills to another genius’ (actually geniuses’) masterpiece!

Beautiful
Please build it!
What a transformation! Yeah, way better 🔥

Dumb question...Chip, do you ever work with foreign automobiles?!! Maybe I'll hear back. Thank you...
Ola Chip Foose. Saudações do sul de Brasil!

👍
Looks like the Airflow became a true AIR-FLOWING automobile. Yes Sir.
Fantastic... I like the front wheel style more @ 7:43 though😎...
That has a feel of a LeBaron bodied Packard, 1933-34.
