Just because they trained for it doesn't mean the crowd should have the right to distract them. What you are suggesting is just so biased against those archers.
I'm a recurve archer, so I understand what happened in Beijing during women's individual archery final game. Recurve archers need to keep focused and listen for the "click" sound made by the clicker that indicates that they should release the string. Blowing a whistle would confuse the archers and screw up their results.
It's what happened the individual's game. And did the Chinese win? Yes they did. I was VERY angry at how the Chinese behaved whenever it was a Korean archer's turn. Not surprised that China won it. Home court advantage + Chinese whistling for Koreans to lose. Thanks alot. See you in 4 years.
yes, and they are such an big country im wondring why arent them the best in all sports.... for example, in fencing (sabre) (thats what i do) the boys were training 3 times a day, EVERY DAY!! comparing whit the others- 1/2 times a day execpting the weekends, so thats a diference

The judges if they had any idea what archery is, should have kicked out some of the people in the crowd, but I guess they were all biased.
