What is the power source of 50m pistols? Precharged pneumatic? Bullets? I don't see a pump or something like that.
Those are .22s, not air pistols. There is an air pistol olympic event though.
Whats the deal with the shooting glasses? aren't you supposed to shoot pistols with both eyes open? why do some glasses have a blinder on one side?

I did pistol shooting for 4 years, some 50m, too. Now I'm Shooting Trap.
For me Clay shooting is a lot easier and more fun ;-). 50m Pistol is very very VERY hard!
You can't say which is easier or better or whatever. Both is grate sports! Everyone does what he's best in and likes most.
this sport doesnt seem so interesting i mean it looks a little bit boring..but clay shooting with 12 gauge shotguns is much more interesting and a more tricky sport(in my opinion)

Not 100% sure but looks like a morini.
I have no idea how they count the score there, the targets show a 7, 8 , 9 and the middle positions or "bulls eye" I guess they don't score anything, there is no numbers on it, and then when they show the score it is in the three didgets. If anyone posting here knows how it is figured please tell me, I am sure there are probably others that don't know either. I'll play the role of the dummy and you can all laugh at me, at least I will know. I am going to start into this sport soon.

Why don't those pistols have any recoil?
Technically they have recoil just very little. It's a combination of multiple factors including small caliber size, smaller gunpowder load, the counter weight on the end of the barrel and the ergonomics of their grips, which wrap around their hands. The more your hand makes contact with the pistol, the more you can control the recoil.
I believe the velocity of the ammunition has an effect too but not sure.
CALISUPERSPORT So what you're saying is, these are made to stretch the bounds of what a pistol technically is so they have the greatest possible advantage when you're standing still trying to hit a still target that's 50 meters away?
Chandler Gloyd the playing field is leveled as all competitors can have these modifications, there's less advantage and they mitigate the randomness of recoil which evens the playing field and forces them to rely on their focus and skill
CALISUPERSPORT I didn't say it was unfair. The problem is that these guns are impractical for any other use.
