You all should play HORSE. It's a fairly simple game with a basketball and the players have to match your shot or they get a letter that spells out HORSE (don't ask me why). But it helps brush up on those shooting skills.
Honestly, I would fail terribly at soccer. Only my kids play it well. But basketball I'm decent as I played it in school. Im sure its the same but reversed for them 😆
Mike easily has the best form. Daz isn't bad either. He just needs to judge how much power he needs at distance. Dave has no shot from outside the box.

I played basketball in junior high and some high school. when learning how to shoot, it helps to hold the ball correctly. whatever your dominant hand is should be on the center and the other stabilizing it on either side. Mike actually looks like he has the best form.. if you can compare it 😂 but good effort!
If you guys do another video, just a point of advice. When you shoot, line up your toes with your knees and the ball. You should only use your dominant hand in the center. Your less dominant hand is used on the side of the ball, just to balance the ball as you push through your dominant hand. You also need to make sure your jump starts from an equal center of gravity. If you are fading away, make sure you jump from a static zone when you are a beginner.
Bend those knees guys. Feet should be about shoulder length apart. Dominant foot about an inch in front. Left hand is your guide hand. Right hand behind and slightly under the ball. Snap that wrist when releasing the ball.
Shooting some hoops should give them a new appreciation for the sport. As you can see it is much more difficult than the pros make it seem. Props for giving it a go.

What you are doing is aiming for the basket, but what you need to do is aim for the square above the basket on the backboard. 9/10 times, it will bounce in the basket.
