This is pretty spot on. There’s a level of professionalism that comes with being a pro. I didn’t like that I wasn’t 100% coming off major injury, but I still went out. There used to be a clause in our contract that we would be fined and suspended for backing out without legitimate reasoning. The concern should be it setting a precedent that we can all pull out of a show if we don’t like the look being presented.

Brett just qualified for next years Olympia and brought a great package, Shaun clarida is a 2 time 212 champ going for his 3rd, Tonio Burton placed top 7 last year, Charles Griffen fixed his gut issues and can pull a good vacuum now, and guess what their all with camp Jansen. If a team drops out of the Super Bowl at the last minute then there is no game, and that’s a really big deal. Nick is just one of the top 5 or 10 guys at the Olympia, and the show will go on without him. If he did the show looking like he’d been off real gear for three months, people would say he disrespected the show by coming in like that, people would be making videos about how he never should have stepped on stage looking like that, how he should have had the decency to bow out, etc etc.

I truly think this was a health issue. They may not reveal it, they may not disclose it, but when you decide to compete at the Olympia, you're really signing a contractual agreement. For them to be like "Oh, you don't look as good as you'd like? Ok, don't compete if you don't think you should. Pull out with one week to go"...I don't think the Olympia people, the Manions, etc. would go for that. It'd set a bad precedent. So, I truly think there's a health issue here. I mean, otherwise, any competitor could decide not to compete, and go like "Well, you let Nick Walker withdraw because he didn't like how he looked. Why can't I?"

No such thing as pharmaceutical tren . I'm such his testosterone is legit but more of the drugs these guys take plus at the mgs they use it has to be underground . For example anavar comes in 2.5mg in its pharmaceutical form . Under ground it's 20- 50mg per pill. Most of these guys run 100+ mg per day.

the example you used with Brandon curry was perfect, I saw him posing 2 weeks out at bevs gym and looked nuts, fell in hospital missed athletes meeting, and still showed up... The Olympia TV has been promoting him and to not show up is wild. he could've been top 10 even at the 280 the currently is

I'm late to the game here, but I personally feel there's something behind the scenes he's not disclosing. He's been talking a big game up until recently, really looking forward to the Olympia. It ain't lack of effort, so if he saw the problem with his physique at a certain point, I think he would've figured it out earlier on and made changes. I don't see him dropping out just because he doesn't feel absolutely 100% with his physique. Like you said, that's really crapping all over his fans, giving up like that. I think it's more than gear problems. Betting physical health has him dropping use and forced into stopping prep altogether.
Social media ruined it in a way for modern bodybuilders. Take a look back at the OGs. Dorian Won 6 in a row training a small underground gym and brought a physique that would put the entire Mr O lineup to shame. Then you have Ronnie Coleman that won 8 in a row training in 110F heat at metroflex while working a full time job as a cop and his early Olympias look would make the entire lineup today look like amateurs next to him. Long story short, they complicate things way too much these days and have too many distractions and use way too much gear

If a team drops out of the Super Bowl at the last minute then there is no game, and that’s a really big deal. Nick is just one of the top 5 or 10 guys at the Olympia, and the show will go on without him. If he did the show looking like he’d been off real gear for three months, people would say he disrespected the show by coming in like that, people would be making videos about how he never should have stepped on stage looking like that, how he should have had the decency to bow out, etc etc.

I truly think this was a health issue. They may not reveal it, they may not disclose it, but when you decide to compete at the Olympia, you're really signing a contractual agreement. For them to be like "Oh, you don't look as good as you'd like? Ok, don't compete if you don't think you should. Pull out with one week to go"...I don't think the Olympia people, the Manions, etc. would go for that. It'd set a bad precedent. So, I truly think there's a health issue here. I mean, otherwise, any competitor could decide not to compete, and go like "Well, you let Nick Walker withdraw because he didn't like how he looked. Why can't I?"

Alot of this needs to be put on Jansen- Clarida off last O, Justin off aswell, Brett pulled out, Nick pulled out. This year Nick awful at Pitsburgh & also off at NY Pro, Brett after 1yr off didnt look so much better, Quinton way off this year & now this with Nick
I noticed that with Brett as well for a year off the way that dude trains you’d expect more.
I think he was dawned if he did and damned if he didn't because he's gonna be criticized for not doing it and not showing up "out of shape". But then if he had shown up and did it "out of shape", he would have been criticized for that. Just like me showing up at two shows this year "out of shape" and now i'm gonna have to fight like hell to try to build my reputation back up.
Brett said on fouads podcast he came off of gear and got down to 225ish I believe to heal his digestive issues. So basically, he had to spend this time getting back to where he was weight/size wise. Plans to spend this next year growing/improving now that his digestive problems are in check @maximus8119

The "more is better" approach (especially when it comes to GH and insulin) has ruined modern bodybuilding.
It's because it's a size game and you need to take these things in excess in order to put on the level of mass needed to be competitive. Dorian and Ronnie were also on a sh*t ton of Insulin and GH hence the bubble guts they brought on stage.

No such thing as pharmaceutical tren . I'm such his testosterone is legit but more of the drugs these guys take plus at the mgs they use it has to be underground . For example anavar comes in 2.5mg in its pharmaceutical form . Under ground it's 20- 50mg per pill. Most of these guys run 100+ mg per day.

This feels like a plug for selling testing kits. Btw I could definitely be wrong but the gear testing kits don’t tell you the concentration of the gear, it just tells you if your test is actually test or your primo is actually primo
the example you used with Brandon curry was perfect, I saw him posing 2 weeks out at bevs gym and looked nuts, fell in hospital missed athletes meeting, and still showed up... The Olympia TV has been promoting him and to not show up is wild. he could've been top 10 even at the 280 the currently is

I'm late to the game here, but I personally feel there's something behind the scenes he's not disclosing. He's been talking a big game up until recently, really looking forward to the Olympia. It ain't lack of effort, so if he saw the problem with his physique at a certain point, I think he would've figured it out earlier on and made changes. I don't see him dropping out just because he doesn't feel absolutely 100% with his physique. Like you said, that's really crapping all over his fans, giving up like that. I think it's more than gear problems. Betting physical health has him dropping use and forced into stopping prep altogether.

Dorian Won 6 in a row training a small underground gym and brought a physique that would put the entire Mr O lineup to shame. Then you have Ronnie Coleman that won 8 in a row training in 110F heat at metroflex while working a full time job as a cop and his early Olympias look would make the entire lineup today look like amateurs next to him. Long story short, they complicate things way too much these days and have too many distractions and use way too much gear
