@@TheComplainingRanter no not yet, but I spoke with a friend of mine who is very handy with this sort of thing and he said the best idea would probably be to use the power to the door switches as they light up when the car is on. We just don't see them light up during the daytime, but they should be on anyway. Once we do that, I will try to film the whole process so I can be as detailed as possible.
The power socket fuse (20amp). It's the cigarette lighter socket basically. I used a 5amp fuse for the lights and put the 20 amp fuse in the slot in line with the wire
