Hello David. Loved how you presented your segment in the climatology area. The graphs were great to put out there. Total surprise on the U of Penn outlook!! Definitely will be very busy. I hope you get plenty of rest before the action begins! Great job on this video. Looking forward to your next. GOD bless
The scariest part is that the *”La-Niña”* is predicted to be weak this year which puts the South East in the hotspot. It’s been a while since the South East coast was affected by a hurricane, from the east coast of Florida all the way up to North Carolina needs to get their hurricane preparations started before it’s too late. We have at least 60 days before things get heated up, so we have time. In 2020 we saw a moderate to strong La-Niña that put the Gulf of Mexico more at risk than the East coast.
My fear is since last year we had a above average hurricane season but *El-Niño* helped push storms away from the US continent and people have gotten complacent about hurricanes especially people who live on the South East coast. Because the last 4 years we watched the Gulf of Mexico be affected by hurricanes while the only storms affecting the South East Coast were storms traveling from the panhandle of Florida which we call in Georgia and the Carolinas *”Back Door”* storms.
Thank You!
You're welcome!
Thanks David.
Just discovered you and subscribed. Excellent video, easy to understand and certainly kind of foreboding.
Looks like someone is following in my footsteps a little bit.
@@blakecummins6901 Bro, that was just a joke.

Right these guys are friends. People should think before they act. Goodness I watch both and always come away with more information than I started with
Pat, I’ve been doing this for a while now this is my same style that I’ve been doing over the last couple of seasons.
See this is what I’m talking about. I can’t even keep my own style and I get a viewer complaining about it. 😤
Pat.. you are still growing your channel.. you are selling yourself.. i get that we get paranoid sometimes.. I get that but there are so many ways to approach a situation.. its always good to stay positive and calm... you two keep going want you guys are doing.. keep doing it and someday you guys will grow to 1 million subscribers!! Just keep it up and stay positive!! Be friends guys 😊
There are many storms and hurricanes predicted this year. Is there a list of when these storms or hurricanes occur and its predicted paths?
Glad to have found your channel, lived through hurricane Eloise in 1975, but hurricane Michael was a monster. It gained strength within a few hours of landfall, right from the Gulf of Mexico. Explain that please. Best regards!
Most likely you’re looking for an answer from the content creator, but I can help you with that question if you don’t mind. The reason why Michael rapidly intensified because of the very warm Gulf Of Mexico waters and low wind shear. Also the South Atlantic Gyre was very strong in the latter part of 2018 which helped develop Michael out of nowhere
@@gregd4633 Thanks, it caught lots of people by surprise, we live inland 50 plus miles, and it barely slowed down. Hope and pray we never have anything like it again... Best regards...
@@t.d.harris1311 Thank you sir 😊

Hey David
Crazy to think 10 years ago we only had 8 named storms.
The Map within 4 years from 2020 to 2024 is crazy difference. Scary I am in tampa and my intuitions have been telling me for this year it won't be good for us
