Here in the uk. Just discovered Billy, and wow, he's performing at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm tonight! Just bought a ticket.! I am gassed!! To put this in context, my previous "best gig" was Springsteen in '81.
If it's the last thing I do I have to get to New Orleans at the end of December and see you boys again 💓 you are the best medicine for the soul besides the Good Lord!
What a fantastic guitarist, singer and songwriter. What a band, such great songs, such great performances. And, during this jam starting around 16:00 minuts or so, I thought: "Well, this could as well e a Grateful Dead gig"
When I saw them live, I was really surprised and impressed with how tight of a band these dudes are. They are all players, but they’re a band. Billy Failing on the banjo really makes an impression in person. Jared walker really rips. Alex had his big showcase moments. Royal fuckin slapped the shit out that bass for 3 hours straight. Of course Bill the Thrill on the guitar was great and powerful. But they all were a band at all times. It was huge and small at the same time, if that makes sense.
What an arrogant young man. When he talks about we get to go back to our sucky lives after the show but not Billy. I ave paid my hard earned dollar to see him...never again. Won't listen to him either.

The show I saw earlier this month ‘Oct 11’ was off the rails!
First time seeing these guys, and it was soooo good!
