    On the first version of Adventure Mode we got your adventurer would know the name of every person in the world before talking to them. That was patched so you need to introduce yourself to them to find out their name. This was accidentally also applied to your own Adventurer and since there is no way to introduce your adventurer to yourself, your character sheet would never say your adventurer's name.

    It would be great that caged entities are not liberated when unretiring. You do not want a loose dragon in your fort when it was previously safely caged away.

    That tables and tombs item fix is such a huge change!!!! One thing I miss is named weapons saying how many kills they have. I'm reminded of that missing every time an item gets named.

      I haven't managed to name any of my items in the meantime, it just silently fails :(

    Not saying that the barter system being implemented is bad, which it's not. But I still think the most pressing things to put in are butcher mechanic, and the journal. It makes sense that the journal will take some time, but it seems like butchering should be the easiest thing to reimplement. Still, any news is good news.

      The thing is, I bet they are working on "what is the hardest to get done" and not "what players want" because its a beta. So they are not going in the order of what we'd like. As painful as it is to say. I think they are going about this the right way.

      @@BlindiRL By that logic the demigod/ god guidance system would have been implemented first since it's arguably the most complex so it can be tested for the beta. I get that Tarn is a good dude and has made a very good game but you don't have mindlessly defend everything he does, right now adventure mode is borderline unplayable without being able to butcher animals/ use abilities

    When looking at my adventurers character sheet after leaving general starting area, at the top it would just state “Sworddwarf” perhaps that’s it?

    i cant wait for adventure mode to full release. I still cant let go of classic for its stealth, tracking, and JOURNAL

    bartering descriptions should very much be like unreal world; another sorta similar game to dwarf fortress' adventure mode that allows you to ask the trader what he wants from your inventory to make the trade viable. I think this would be a very good system to implement as it could be further layered on with the trader's inner thoughts and goals as they could ask for more or less depending on what they deem valuable for the trade you offer; with some potential into some traders scamming an adventurer to get more from them than they originally wanted.

    I like the idea of intimidating someone into turning over their sword. “Drop your weapon, and I’ll make your death much less painful.”

    I ran into an adventurer being unaware of it's name once out of the few I made. It just displayed them as Recruit / Swordsman in the status screen instead of the name being there. You could still introduce yourself to people but for whatever reason your own character sheet displayed it like you were a stranger you haven't spoken too.

    6:11 sometimes my adventurers wouldn't have a name on their status screen, it would just have their title (i.e. swordmaster instead of xxxxxxxxxx,swordmaster), possibly that's what it's referring to? haven't run into this issue since

    Does anyone know when Adventure Mode comes to the live version?

      A vague "when it's ready.". Should hopefully only be a couple months at most, and really what I think is keeping it from being viably playable now is the lack of the butcher and journal mechanic. So once those are implemented I would say it would be a good time to jump in.
