An insight into a man who when setting a goal doesn't stop until he's climbed the mountain no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem. Maybe what's most incredible is Arnold's way to deal with negative thoughts and setbacks and how he quickly moved on to being focused on winning again. A complicated man with an amazing American Dream story. Great show on many levels.

Arnold an example of a life well lived. This was a terrific documentary and worth watching. I particularly enjoyed his sense of humor and brutal honesty. Who has a life with out a few regrets? I think he is an example of embracing how one can learn from an impervious decision and grow from it. I am particularly sensitive to his love for his son Joseph, happy to see he loves all his children equally.

@@vilimbubas1302 True, work and life should be balanced, like everything.
But besides of that Arnold is a living proof that anyone can achieve something huge. Think about it, he didn't know English, he had a terrible accent, his father didn't loved him and didn't accept his passion for bodybuilding, no one ever believed in him - but he was so tough that he became a world champion, Mr. Universe.
He could quit there and live his life without working at all. He was a millionaire at the age of 30, before he started his carrier in movies. You think it would be better for him if he stopped there? I think not. I think he was happy being a Terminator, Conan etc. he had fun on movie sets, working with many great people. Behind the seriousness here it's easy to miss what a brilliant practical joker Arnold is.
I remember him telling a story of a fellow bodybuilding competitor who asked him for advice on how to get the edge over fellow competitors on stage.

When I think about success and making dreams come true, I think about Arnold. He did everything he wanted to do and did it the best he could. Even as the Governator. A bodybuilder from another country (with a strong accent) comes to America and becomes World Champion several times. Then he gets into the movies and becomes an action hero. Probably the most successful (along with Stallone) of all. Then he wants to get into politics and he gets in and he becomes a Governor and then he goes back to movies and keeps being successful. Regardless of how successful (or not) his after politics movies were/are, if Arnold is in, people want to see them. He’s a very intelligent and successful man.

Terminator rocks because of the director, not because of Arnie.
      Other possible roles:
Arnold Schwarzenegger was the first choice for the iconic role of the Terminator in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, but there were some other actors that could have played the part. Some of the possible actors considered for the role include:
      Sylvester Stallone
      O.J. Simpson
      Dolph Lundgren
Michael Biehn (who played Kyle Reese in the first Terminator movie)
However, ultimately the role went to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was already well-known as the Terminator from the first movie.

As a fitness buff, Arnold is my biggest inspiration ever. He took life by the horns and showed it who’s boss by never letting anything, anyone, stand in the way of his dreams. And this documentary did him great justice. Had lots of emotion, humor, and it felt like a faithful update to Pumping Iron. Arnold had such an eventful, intense, powerful life to tell. ✊

Always been an Arnold fan, from way back in 1975. The Netflix documentary was very good. One of my favorite parts, is toward the end. Arnold is reflecting on his age, discussing how at this stage in his life, his approach to fitness, and his bodies aging, is to just 'hang on'. He references, that at 75, and looking in the mirror, his reaction is - 'what the f**k!'. Priceless Arnold.
