I was playing against you in the first game as cxcoco77 ! This is one of my favourite decks you've ever cooked up, I disenchanted all my golden cards to craft it 😅. I experimented with naturalize as a tech against these pesky blademasters and razorscales, but all in all I don't think it's worth running it. I had barely any idea what was happening during the mirror but when I saw you play the melon I knew I was in for a long game haha. Cheers and thanks for the video !

In my push to legend on NA, I teched using wrath instead because you can use it as draw and it doesn't give your opponent draw. Hope it helps!
@@Q_z_@Q_z_ good call, wrath doesn't give an immediate answer to every minion but it's more flexible. I also tried running one swipe a bit as it can help against aggro as well. Thanks for the tip !

We're finally back to board states mattering in wild hearthstone. All it takes is swapping hands and decks with the mirror matchup every turn.

It's games like this that make me appreciate hearthstone as a strategy card game. This is infinitely more fun, engaging, and interesting than something like pirate warrior where the deck takes zero decision making skills. It's matches like this that highlight a players knowledge, quick thinking, and strategy...and watching Dane play this out explaining his decision making is glorious to watch. GREAT VIDEO DANE

Obviously in mirror, both decks are mostly shit and there's no outright wincon, so Dane simply tries to get board advantage over multiple turns. If one player has board, other player doesn't and decks dont have any solution, its obvious who wins.
Azalina soulthief mirrors always take me back!
That's really interesting, that a combo deck which normally ignores the board becomes one that only cares about the board in the mirror match.
Edit: though now that I think about it, you could say the same for face hunter mirrors

Dane always out here popping out Rush minions for the win, like damn bro feels like he brought loaded dice into an online card game.
Those spurfangs quite literally gave you the perfect outs... A 10/10 rush plus a poisonous rush... The game really wanted you to win
I would argue you still want to combo first in the mirror matchup, and the opponent misplaying was why you won. By comboing first you can draw out their armor/combo cards using eonar. In the first matchup your opponent lost by not tapping eonar when they played her (would've been ahead of you) and not killing the aviana with the 5/5 taunt when they had the chance (would've forced you to overload to tog/azalina). The 2nd opponent also hard misplayed by missing his hero power somehow, not playing aviana with board space, and not using azalina during that turn.
Ashamed to admit my brain couldn´t keep up with all the sheananigans happening , I for sure know I would´ve conceded 20mins ago.

I once had a Togg mirror as well.
I played Guff before they did their combo, so the rest of the game I had 20 mana and they had 10. At some point they didn't play an Azalina for a turn, so I immediately dumped all my good cards on board. From there I had the board advantage and neither of our hands did anything so I won.

i played thief priest into this deck and it basically became a mirror match lmao
mill mirror matches are closest thing we get to og hearthstone, playing stats and sometimes getting value out of wierd cards lol
How did you know right away in that first match it was a mirror?
Right now a Druid deck in Wild is likely to be a Tog Druid, especially at high legend. The other options are Mill Druid, Treant Druid and Reno Druid, all of which are found at lower ranks.
I think this deck has given people PTSD. Because every time I cue up a game and ramp twice in a row, they concede. Lmao!
When you're both playing with Aviana try not to touch Togwaggles.
Please, if you want, do more of these mirrors. It feels so fun and interesting how you have to manage board, eonars, and aviana. It reminds me of Dinomist, Zoodiac, or Metalfoes control matchups in Yugioh

I kinda love how in this "mirror of decks that combo and then do nothing"we ended up with a hunter legendary buffed by a hunter spell that created 3 better versions of it in your deck.
Modern HS is so cracked. Even decks that are supposed to make your opponent loose once they have it are capable of the most ridicules lines. I'm all here for it, mind you.
