@@Michael.OJackson that's a great idea :) I will do an update when I'm all set up and running. Just had another good idea for a monitor stand in my other video. Going to upload it now 😃
Is the inside of this countertop wood? Or it's like that hexagonal cardboard stuff? If so, the router tool might not work as expected no? I'm not a crafty myself 😆
Is the trotten table top at the back 120x70 because u say 170cm and how have u attached it to the back of the desk also what screws are u using for the main work bench and drawers thank you
Sorry I said it wrong! It is 120 Cm in length and 70 cm wide not 170!. It fits snugly under so it is not screwed in at all. I can slide my desk out and then slide the Trotten table top sideways (With effort) to get to the wall socket behind it. For the main work top I just took the drawers out, tipped the drawers over and screwed them into the worktop with standard wood screws. 4-5cm screws would be fine. It is only to stop it sliding about
@@suffixify No, it's a snug fit. Plus I wanted to be able to shift it out if needs be. It could be screwed it but doesn't need to be. There is a small lip at the back as the Alex drawers are about 58 cm deep and the kitchen table top is 63. I just put the front on so they were flush and used that slight overhang at the back to slide the second table under. It touches the floor and the tabletop perfectly. It would take a little bit of force to push it out
Good idea!
If you have a router tool you could inset some LEDs under the tabletop for some extra jazz!

@@VPWard good point
@@VPWard it's like a chipboard. I didn't want that lightweight cardboard one.
