You know how it is when you’re miserably sick (head cold) and bing the scrapbook videos. I fell asleep with one of your videos on. In my dreams, you wouldn’t let me get the dishes done until I got 4 more layouts finished. Too bad I had to wake up! 😅😅😅
Hi Lauren, I'm sorry I missed this live video today. I dropped a cast iron skillet lid on my right leg near my shin bone which took off part of my top layer of skin. Have a lot to go through as it slowly heals. Will watch on replay as I can. Thank you.
I agree with your scrapping philosophy. While I enjoy looking at fancy, super embellished pages they miss the point of scrapping…which is using photos to tell the story. One well known designer uses tiny photos and says the art is the most important and the photo is only there to support her super embellished page design…wrong! The photos are the most important part of any scrapbook page.
I agree with you, but each person has their own preference, and I can respect that. One example is " junk journals." I don't understand the attraction, but I know several people who love them.
@@ajbunches825 You are right. That's why I do junk journals, art journals, photo folios, make tons of all kind of cards, paint, draw and other kinds of crafts. I was supporting Lauren's philosophy and I do think the story and the photos should take center stage when scrapping important events in my family's story. Not sure if I have the power to influence other makers but thanks for the vote of confidence. I love our craft and everyone should be free to do and express their own artistic talent in every and in any way that pleases them. As Tim Holtz says "you do you."🙂

as always, love watching you set up a page quickly, cleanly were the photos are the stars. Thank You!
Your sketches are a great idea.
Darn work-couldn’t attend live- thanks Lauren!
We always learn so much from you! Thank you!
love the fathers day title!
Watching the replay...
Love the tab punch; but using your designer paper makes it so much more unique. Thanks for ideal.
Also watching the Replay again. Now i need to figure out how to get to it later

Thinking there is ONE right way is limiting your (& others) creativity.
